"Are you ready?" Narcissa seductivly said to Lucius. Lucius nodded, pulling himself closer to her. BOOM! There was a crash of thunder, which startled them both. That was loud," she said.
"Yeah, I'm surprised Dra-" Lucius was cut off by the flash of lightning and another crash of thunder. Then the power went out, followed by a loud thud. 'Lumos!'
When they could see each other, they exchanged confused looks, and put on their robes, before cautiously going out into the hallway to investigate that noise. There they found 5 year old Draco sitting on the floor, facing the wall, and rubbing his head. He looked very confused.
"Draco?" Narcissa asked, "What are you doing?"
"Sitting on the floor," he replied, not meaning to be rude. It was in a little kid's nature to state the obvious.
"Why?" Narcissa said patiently. She crouched down besides him.
"Well there was lightning, and that sorta scared me to be awake. I came to get you mummy, but then there was a really loud noise- (There was another crash of thunder) L-like that. Then it got dark and I," he paused a moment, his voice had an embarrassed sound to it, "ran into a wall..."
"Excuse me," Lucius said, trying to hold back laughter, as he went back into his and Narcissa's room. He didn't want to laugh at Draco right in front of him.
"Are you okay?" Narcissa asked him.
"I think I am," he said, "but I broke the wall." Sure enough, there was a dent in the wall. He looked down at the ground to hide his face from his mum.
"It's okay," she said, rubbing he cheek, "You can come sleep with me and Daddy tonight." There was another crash of thunder. Draco shuddered.
"Okay," Draco said worriedly. Narcissa picked him up and carried him back to their room.
"We have a guest staying with us tonight," Narcissa told Lucius, setting Draco in the middle of their kingside bed. Draco was already asleep. "Goodnight babe," she told Lucius.
"'Night babe," he said back to her, sighing. Maybe tomorrow... He thought. He was very disappointed.
