I'm not usually big on poetry but this came to me as a goodbye to our dear Matt Smith and his Doctor.
I do not own Doctor Who.
Hello Doctor, Goodbye Forever
As new eyes open
And old ones close,
A new hope is born
And a question must pose.
Friends may come
And friends may go.
Though none are forgotten,
Of him some won't know.
The Girl Who Waited
Filled up with hope,
Burning red in life
With ev'ry word she spoke.
The Last Centurion
Giving up everything
All for the love
Wearing his bright wedding ring.
The musically flowing stream,
Whose first day was her last,
Gave her love
To the one traveling past.
The Impossible Girl,
Who's wherever life sends her,
Keeps every him company;
Run - and remember.
The angel so sweet,
The angel so sad,
Tore away both hearts
Of the Time Lord so mad.
The library dark,
The library quiet,
Stole his Song
Before he could try it.
Trenzalore calls,
A world must be saved
And in the process
Two hearts will be slayed.
Spiraling magic glows,
Gold infects the air;
The searing pain's felt
By all in despair.
"You were fantastic!"
"I don't want to go!"
The eleventh one started
With "Geronimo!"
The stars swirl round,
Twinkling above,
Declaring to th' universe:
"Defended with love"
We'll miss you Matt!
