"Dad?"

Sam flinched at the sound of Dean's thin, weak voice. "No, man, it's Sammy," he answered softly, Dean's nickname for him sounded odd coming out of his own mouth. He laid his big hand gently on Dean's damp forehead - he was still burning up. He left his palm there and let his fingers drift in circles through the sweat-sticky spikes when his touch seemed to soothe Dean's restless trembling somewhat.

"C'we have snocones?" Dean mumbled, glassy green eyes showing through barely cracked lids.

"Sssshhh - I'll get you a snocone later. Promise. Right now you need to sleep."
