A gloomy silence hung over huecto mundo, adding to the eerie stillness of the deserted land that would make even the toughest Arrancar shiver with unease, not a single hollow was in sight not even the usual lizard or spider dared venture out into the evil sands, that was except one small girl, her bright blue eyes sparkled as she ran across the sand her long dark hair flowing elegantly behind her, as she ran she shot jets of lilac light that flew a few feet before evaporating in mid air from her outstretched hands. The small girl grinned brightly as she placed her hands together, drew in a deep breath and shouted "Rain Mikano" a bright purple light expanded over the dessert, the small girl let out a excited laugh as a dagger appeared in her hand she flipped it over in her hand before crouching down to the sand and tapping the hilt of the dagger to the ground "come on little guy, I want ya ta see my new technique" the girl spoke softly her voice kind and sweet, still nothing emerged from the sand, she let out a frustrated sigh and dropped to her knees still half-heartedly tapping the ground.
"Miki-Chan, what are cha doin'?" The unmistakeable voice of Gin Ichimaru made the girl jump slightly, she turned her expression of annoyance turning to a cheeky grin "Look Ichi-chan I learned a new technique wanna' see?" Miki stood up brushing the sand from her skirt holding her hands out in front of her, Gin quickly placed his hand on top of hers pushing them down gently "Not if there's a chance you'll blow me and the rest of my party apart" he replied the usual unnerving smile on his face, Miki's brow furrowed as she leaned her head around the Captain to see the 1st ,3rd and 6th espada standing behind him looking rather board, Miki disappeared and reappeared in front of Grimmjow in a flash making him jump backwards in shock "Freaking Kid quit doin' that!" he bellowed glaring down at the giggling girl, Miki tilted her head to the side merely staring at the 6th espada until he growled and turned away muttering something along the lines of "I'm going inside" Miki then advanced on Hallibel looking up at her, her mouth wide open her eyes glistening with mischief, Hallibel glanced down at her, knowing she'd have to bite sooner or later "what?" she said knowing she'd just set up a perfect line for Miki. "Well…" Miki began her eyes trailing down to the 3rd espada's chest "how…" Miki was cut off as a loud yawn from Stark filled the surrounding space, giving Gin a chance to butt in by placing his hand on Miki's head and urging the other two to go back to Los Naches.
After the other two where out of earshot Miki advanced on Gin "why'd ya' disturb me anyway?" she said a cocky tone in her voice, but Gin simply shrugged " I was board any besides you where missing a meeting with Cap'n' Aizen" he replied simply oblivious to the change in Miki's expression, it had become curious and somewhat absent as he had finished speaking "where there cakes?" the small girl asked still deep in thought her voice trailing away on the last word, Gin blinked and looked down at her his uneasy smile still plastered on his face "Of course Miki-Chan" he spoke as if addressing a serious question, Miki's face lit up as she grabbed the Ex-Captains arm dragging him along the sand "Lets go Home then Ichi-chan", for a brief moment Gin in shock was pulled behind the raven haired girl, he suddanly stopped dug his heels in the ground and some how managed to restrain the exited child by holding onto her shoulders and crouching down so his face was inches from hers "Of course" he continued once Miki had stopped wriggling and complaining "We ate them all" he finished with a air of amusement in his voice .
