Darkness
My first fanfic so I know it's quite crappy but don't be too harsh. I'm gonna try to write more if you guys like it.

He welcomed the darkness It brought him comfort. It gave him peace. He laughed at the thought, he seemed to
have a lot of 'peace' these days. He locked himself up because he still couldn't forgive himself for that one
mistake. He just hoped that she did.

(Flashback)
"For once in your life Cloud, tell me the truth. Do you love her?" her voice was sad, pleading almost to the point
of breaking down.
"It was...I....I'm sorry"
(End Flashback)
He couldn't cry. He had done enough of that already.
(Flashback)
"How could you! To think I loved you...I trusted you. Goodbye."
Her voice was sad but it somehow scared him. There was something about that goodbye. She got up and opened
the door.
"I never thought you would let me get this far"
"I didn't either" was all he could whisper as she closed the door.
(End flashback)
He wished his stupid ass would have gotten up and blocked the doorway, but he knew he would have let her go
anyway. He wished he had a least tried.

A neighbour had found her on the floor of her home in Nebleheim. She was lying there alone. She had always
had been alone and it was all his fault. He promised her he would protect her but he didn't. He would like to
believe that he tried but even he knew he didn't. That was probably why he hated himself so much.
He closed his eyes. There was no point in opening them, all he could see was darkness.

Okay so did it suck? Honestly I would be happy if you just reply good or bad. I kinda enjoy laughing at flames (I have a sick sense of humour? I know).
