Hey guys, I'm back with a new story! I'm sorry I haven't been working on my other story Lucy's Light, I just haven't been getting much inspiration for that story at the moment. However, I'm really excited about this story and it has been really fun to write. Feel free to review!

Tears poured down my face as I shoved my belongings into a few suitcases. a red hot fury coursed through my blood mixed with the sadness of betrayal. I couldn't stay here. I could honestly say that I never wanted to see him again. I felt guilt pinging in the back of my mind at leaving my friends behind, but they would understand.

Why does shit like this happen to me?

4 hours earlier

I hummed while I put on my new earrings in front of my mirror before stepping back to get a full view of how I looked. I smiled at my reflection, I was wearing a simple black dress that just barely covered my ass, and the top displayed my creamy chest. My hair was up in a bun with a few strands framing my face and I had on a pair of sexy 5 inch heels on. I looked perfect for my anniversary dinner with my fiancé.

I sighed with contentedness. The stars were aligning, so to speak, what with everything going so well in my life. I had a guild full of friends, i was doing well with money, and most importantly, I was marrying Laxus Dreyar.

I grabbed my bag, took one last look in the mirror, and headed towards the door. I opened it up and saw a box sitting on the doormat. Curiosity struck me, so I opened the note pinned to the top which only said 'for your own good'. Worry started gnawing in my gut but I decided to go ahead and open the box up. Who knew that one little action could change your life forever.

I sat in a crumpled mess on my doormat for what felt like hours, anger and sadness building up within me. Inside that box were hundreds of photos of Laxus and Mira together. Looking into each other's eyes, kissing each other, him holding her in his arms, and them doing it together. It didn't take a genius to know that he was cheating. Tears blurred my vision as they splattered down onto a photo of them laughing together. The photos all had dates written on them, all from the past 3 months. I couldn't believe this. When had he found time to go gallivanting with another woman? Mira to be exact. Hatred for the both of them boiled up as my features went blank. I stared down at the ring on my finger, the ring that once brought me ecstasy.

The image of my perfect life was drowned in my tears.

I stormed into the guild, my rage about to consume me. Just an hour ago I was the happiest girl in the world, getting ready to celebrate my one year anniversary with Laxus Dreyar, the love of my life.

Or so I thought.

"Where's Laxus?" my words trembled with fury as I scanned the guild hall. The crowd of guild members, sensing my mood, parted leaving a surprised looking Laxus standing across the room. As I stalked towards him I could see his eyes shift around the room as he fiddled with the fur lining his jacket.

"Uh hey babe, you okay? "

"Shut up."

"Excuse me?"

"I said shut your damn mouth!" I yelled at him "are you gonna keep lying to me or are you going to tell me what this is about?!" I pulled out a particularly dirty photo of him and Mira going at it in what looked like an alleyway and waved it in front of his eyes.

The only answer I received was his silence while the guild hall chattered nervously. Laxus's mouth was agape as he tried to form words to explain himself.

"Lucy, it's not what it looks like" he began

"Oh really? Because it looks like you and my so called 'friend' are having a fuck-fest behind my back!" my voice grew louder with each word and tears of anger threatened to make an appearance.

The guild hall erupted with noise as all of the members exclaimed there disgust at the shocking news.

"Is this true Mira?"

"How dishonorable!"

"Are you gonna steal my boyfriend next, you whore?"

"You just gave up a perfect future for a couple of hookups?"

"Stay away from my gray-sama!"

All of the guild members loudly hurled insults and comments at Laxus and Mira

"Luce, just let me explain-"he pleaded

"Don't ever call me that again! My name in your mouth disgusts me!" my hatred filled eyes pierced his own. Tears started pouring down my face as he stared at me with shock and sadness in his ocean blue eyes. Eyes I had once trusted. "I can't believe I ever loved you! We're through dreyar!" I yanked off my ring and threw it in his face before turning and storming away from him.

The guild hall was quiet except for the clatter from a ring bouncing to the floor. It wasn't a promise anymore, just a ring.

"It's not his fault Lucy" Mira appeared next to Laxus "we were just…"

"You stay out of this! You've done enough you- you bitch!"I yelled at Mira "I guess trusting someone like you was a mistake!"

"Lucy we weren't trying to hurt you… we were going to- to stop but-"Mira sniveled as tears started spilling down her cheeks.

"But what? What excuse is there for sleeping with someone else's boyfriend- no -fiancé? And you" I growled as I looked up at Laxus" how many other people have you cheated on me with? Was Mira just the gateway to all of this, or as this been happening even before her?"

"Lucy it was my fault don't take this out on Mira" Laxus stammered "and it was just a few times, and we were going to stop-"

"Well I hope it was worth it you dick because you can kiss my ass goodbye!"I swiveled around and started towards the doors but a hand on my wrist stopped me. Laxus stared at me with pained eyes.

"Look Lucy, can we please just talk about this?"

I smacked his hand away with all the strength I could muster and looked up into his eyes.

"I can't believe I ever loved you. you never deserved my love." I spat.

"Lucy…" he made a final attempt to stop me.

I looked back at him into his stormy eyes, and the burning anger dissipated leaving me with stone cold hatred in its place.

I stuck my middle finger up and pressed it to his face "fuck you Laxus Dreyar" I retorted before stalking my way out of the guild.

Laxus is going to regret playing with fire. Because someone is bound to get burned, and it sure as hell isn't going to be me.
