I moved faster than lightning. As soon as my alarm clock went off, I jumped out of bed and slapped the off button. I began dancing around the room, while he was simultaneously putting on pants. Unfortunately for me, I made too much noise while moving around.
"Percy? Are you okay in he-" Amphitrite dropped the dagger she was carrying and whipped her head away.
"Oh my god mom! I'm so sorry, I didn't know mean to wake you!" Percy felt so embarrassed. My own mother had just walked in on me naked, only half wearing underwear. Amphitrite spoke through the door.
"It's okay, it's my fault. I should've knocked first." Luckily it was only 5:30, so there were only a couple guards around.
"Well um. I'm still sorry for waking you up."
"What do you mean? I've been up for an hour preparing breakfast for you!"
"Wait. Why did you do that?"
"You really think I'd miss such an important day for you Percy? Now hurry up." She was right, it is a pretty important day today. I wonder how the others mornings were so far.
Jason PoV
I was having an amazing dream about finally beating Percy in a sword fight, when it was interrupted just I was about to decapitate him.
"Come on bro. It's time to wake up."
"5 more minutes." I mumbled, barely hear able."
"Nonono. Any other day and I would agree, but you can't be late to something like this." I knew they were right. But the bed felt so much better right now.
"Can't I go last?"
"Now now. They save the best for last."
"What's your point?"
"You should be first." That made me jump out of bed.
"You listen her Hermes! I don't care if you're my brother, I will rip your throat out if you ever make fun of me again." I don't know why, but I felt awake, like I didn't want sleep anymore.
"Damn Apollo, your magic worked."
"What magic!" I swear to god if they put some kind of spell on me today.
"Relax, it was just to wake you up. Now get ready, you have 15 minutes till you have to be there."
"Yeah yeah. Can you get out of my room now."
"Sure thing bro." Hermes flashed out, shortly followed by Apollo. The others are lucky to not have such annoying siblings.
Thalia PoV
Today was the day! Today was the day I finally got my wish. I finally got to do what I've trained for my whole life. Even though this is probably the best day I'll ever have, I'm still in bed.
"Thalia! Why are you still sleeping? You only have 10 minutes to get ready!"
"Nice try Artemis. I know you. That means I still have 10 minutes to get up." I spoke into my pillow, surprised anyone could hear me.
"Actually sister, she's not lying this time." Athena spoke behind me. I turned my head towards them.
"Prove it." Athena swiped her hand, and I saw an iris message of Jason finishing his hair. "Oh shit!" I jumped out of bed.
"That's what we thought."
"Shut up Arty. Now leave so I can get ready." They both left as I began to undress. I'm not looking forward to seeing Nico. He gonna roast the shit out of me for being late.
Nico PoV
Today was the fucking day. I woke up 30 minutes before my alarm went off, as usual, and quickly got dressed. I have to get there before Thalia at all costs. It's so fun watching her contain her anger in front of the council.
*Knock. Knock.*
"Nico, are you awake?"
"Yes mom."
"Okay. Just checking in. And remember, you're going to do great."
"Thanks mom."
"No problem. Now hurry up." She does know I'm early right. But anyways, I'm guessing nobody else is awake yet.
Hazel PoV
I was sitting in bed, waiting for my alarm to go off. I decided to wait so that I wouldn't be too early, I don't want the others thinking I'm too obsessed with today.
*Beep. Beep*
As soon as I heard the beeps, I jumped up and turned it off. I timed my alarm so that u should get there at around the same time as Bianca. I don't want her to get mad if I'm too late or early, she's like my role model. I was brought out of my worrying with a knock
"My lady, do you mind?"
"You're good Alecto." She opened the door.
"You're parents sent me here. They want to make sure you're okay."
"I'm all good. Thanks for checking in."
"My pleasure. I'll inform your father immediately." She was closing the door when I stopped her.
"Wait! Does this outfit look good?" I asked sheepishly.
"You look beautiful. Fit for a princess."
"Do you think Bianca will like it."
"I'm sure she'll love it." I sighed in relief.
"Thank you Alecto." She closed the door as she left, leaving me in my room. It was time to do my hair. I decided to do a basic braid, just like Bianca showed me. I wonder why she's gonna do. It's a very important day for her too.
Bianca PoV
I'm so nervous. Today is the day. Mr and my best, of not only friends are going to finally get what we want. I looked in the mirror and almost cried from joy and excitement. Luckily I didn't, this isn't waterproof makeup. I should probably tell Percy that. Actually, I should definitely tell Percy that.
"Thinking about later?" My mom asked from the doorway.
"How could I not? It's probably the most important day in all of our, well most of our lives."
"What do you mean?"
"Well, one of us is going to be the prophecy child. And anyone that makes it that long is going to have much more important experiences."
"Don't think like that. If we didn't think all of you would survive, we wouldn't have done all of this."
"That's true. Thanks for the pep talk."
"It's nothing. I'm always here for you."
"I love you."
"I love you too. Now hurry up and let's go. Everyone's waiting.
"Okay. Lemme just grab one thing. I'll be right there."
"Whatever you need." She left the room. I didn't need to get anything, I just wanted a couple extra seconds to compose myself. After a couple seconds. I left the room and headed towards the throne room.
