Chapter 1

"House!"

"Dam," he mumbled.

Almost a whole day without orders from mother Cuddy, and now she was running towards him Rachel in her arms. "House! Don't you walk away from me!"

House continued walking towards the elevator until Cuddy's hand caught the back of his shirt.

"Good morning Dr. Cuddy, and how is the little bundle of poo this morning?" House said putting on an obviously fake smile. "Stop that you're scaring the baby," Cuddy remarked.

"You're right that's your job. Now if you'll excuse me," House said stepping into the open elevator.

"Oh no," Cuddy said following. "Don't think you can just ignore what we need to talk about." "You mean how that child is stinking up the elevator, and how you're wearing that pretty leopard bra. Grrrrr!" House's eyes wandered to her very low cut shirt.

"House!" "You know if you tilt the baby a tiny bit, you may be able to hide your lack of professionalism."

Rachel began to squirm and reach towards her mother's chest wanting to change her position. "Hey, maybe that kid is not dumb after all," House said exiting the elevator.

"Her name is Rachel and she's a girl," Cuddy said trailing behind him. "Anything else because the T.V. gets mad when I keep her waiting?"

"You can go tell "her" that she will be waiting for a long time if you don't go and do three hours of clinic duty you owe me." "But ma…"Rachel began to cry. "House! I'm serious!" Cuddy said giving him a death glare. "I have a board meeting, when I get back those hours better be done. If not your precious little T.V. can meet Mr. Garbage can."

"Well, that explains the leopard bra. The old guys on the board will love it." "House!"

"Alright. Now will you kindly remove the screaming monkey from MY office?" Cuddy shook her head and walked out the door. "What?" House shouted after her, while watching he ass sway back and forth. When she didn't respond he figured it was safe, and left to hide out in Wilson's office.
