Truly Happy

Kagome giggled as she ran though the house her and her husband was living in. She was baking when he came home from his team's football practice (Shogun gave her a break). And well, let her say that his face got covered in whipped cream and that somehow got this game of tag started. Who knew someone who was so serious, was also so playful?

Kagome was bought out of her thoughts when she heard another set of feet running behind her. She squealed with delight when two strong arms quickly wrapped themselves around her waist and lifted her off the ground. Kagome's body shivered when a husky voice whispered in her ear, "I will always catch you, love."

Kagome turned her head to stare into the black eyes of Japan's greatest linebacker and her husband, Shin. Somehow managing to turn around in his arms while still in air, Kagome kissed his forehead. "I know you will." One of Shin's hands left his wife's waist and cupped her scar free face.

The morning after they made love and got out of high school, Kagome's body was scar free. They research the miracle and found that since the scars were made out of hate, eternal love would rid the scars forever. Shin then had and still does worry about men coming after Kagome, since with the scars, other men wanted to have nothing to do with her. Which led to the Agon's incident. It wasn't Shin's fault; Agon should have been touching what was Shin's in the first place. Common sense.

After that, he proposed to Kagome after a university game they played in. Two months later they got married. All their friends and family showed up. A picture of Kagome's father was next to her mother's seat. They stayed home for their honeymoon and are in a happy relationship, just as the first day they both said 'I love you' and 'I do'.

Shin smiled, stopping past memories, at his Kagome. The said woman was thrown over her husband's shoulder and was carried off to an unknown location of the house. "You do realize that I'm going to get payback for you throwing whip cream on to my face."

Kagome smiled and shook her head. "It was your fault. You shouldn't have scared me like that." Shin said nothing as he continued his way to the kitchen. A few short seconds later, Kagome found herself up against a kitchen wall and Shin kissing her. She would have wrapped her arms around his neck, if it wasn't for the fact her hands were bound together with one of Shin's hands.

When breathing was needed, they broke apart. Kagome knew for a fact that her face was red. She felt Shin take her off the wall and set her down on the counter. She gasped when something cold was splattered onto her face. She opened her eyes to find a smirking Shin in front of her with his hand covered in the whipped cream she was using. "I guess we're even now." Kagome thought for a moment and smirked. She kissed Shin unexpectedly and, before Shin could react, jumped off the counter. Turning around to face her husband and running at the same time, Kagome yelled over her shoulder," No we aren't." Kagome ran with Shin on her heels and smiling, knowing that for once in a long time, she was truly happy.
