Not even bothering to look back at Wormtail's body, she raced up the steps and threw open the door leading into the shadowy corridor. Tiptoeing as fast she could, she reached the open door leading to the drawing room and stopped dead. She could not believe what she was seeing.
First, she saw a distraught-looking Malfoy restraining a sobbing Evan who was collapsed against him. That wasn't good.
Second, she saw the Lestrange brothers looking triumphant as they stood up. Both had their robes off. Neither had anything on.
And finally, she saw Olivia lying on the floor, bleeding, with her shirt torn and both her pants and her underwear rolled down her legs. Oh Merlin.
They did not just do that to her.
They did not.
But they did.
Rage overcame her and everything went hell.
By the time Dobby arrived, all three Malfoys were knocked unconscious and both Lestrange brothers were dead with their heads gushing out blood.
Alyssa Potter made her second and third kills. And this time, she remembered it well.
And she felt no remorse.
No remorse for murdering the two men who tortured and raped her best friend.
