The sunlight played across his red hair, and his golden eyes gleamed with the sheer absence of positivity. Hikaru Hitachiin was just like every other guy in the word; His heart was broken and he was suffering. The only difference was that he'd long ago accepted this would happen. He understood that Tono got what he wanted. After all, he was the king.
Kaoru's faint bittersweet smile faded once he saw the depth of his sadness in his brother's eyes.
"Hikaru... I'm sorry-"Kaoru started, but was interrupted by a subtle but loving kiss from Hikaru. A blush of the cutest pink spread across his face.
Kaoru was quite flustered. He cared about his brother quite a bit but they hadn't ever kissed before. Perhaps it wasn't entirely an act? Kaoru had known that at least he wasn't for a while now... So maybe if he was lucky Hikaru felt the same way?
Once Kaoru pulled away from Hikaru, he noticed that his brother didn't seem that sad anymore. Instead, a worried look played across his features.
"Did I tell you to stop?" Kaoru asked teasingly, and pulled him in for another kiss;This time he slowly wrapped his arms around his brothers neck and realized that things like this made him happy. Utterly and blissfully happy. So what if he was the Uke? He liked it better that way.
Hikaru seemed breathless for once, and Kaoru smirked. He was cute whether he was Seme or not. Relief flooded him. Kaoru was glad he didn't have to worry about someone taking his Hikaru away from him again.
'It is good I don't have to worry... What could life possibly be without someone to share it with? ' Kaoru thought.
"I love you Hikaru." Kaoru murmured as they pulled away again
Hikaru smiled and this time it seemed genuine.
"I love you too Kaoru."He responded.
'Perhaps more than you will ever know little brother.' Hikaru thought, sighing in joy as Kaoru leaned into him.(As they were now facing eachother sitting down.)
