Once he left the Earth, the Little Prince did not find himself at home as he had hoped. Instead he traveled to yet another peculiar planet. This particular planet was filled with all sorts of colors and crazy contraptions.
As the Little Prince traveled about examining the interesting planet he heard a voice, "Step right up, step right up! Take a ride on the best roller coaster in all the planet!"
The Little Prince traveled to find the source of the voice and found, standing at the entrance to a particularly large metal contraption, a short, round man with wild gray hair.
"One ticket is all you need folks! You can ride all day with a single ticket!"
The Little Prince stepped up to the man, "I should like to know what this metal contraption is that you stand before."
"Do you have a ticket, sir?" The round man asked.
"No… What is this metal contraption?" For the Little Prince never forgot a question once he asked it.
"Well you can't ride this roller coaster unless you have a ticket. I'm sorry."
"What is a roller coaster?" The Little Prince asked.
"Why, it is simply the best invention in all the universe! You just need one ticket to ride and you can ride all day!" The round man said.
"I should like to get a ticket, sir. Where shall I find one?"
"Well I can give you a ticket!" The round man reached into the pocket of his trousers and produced a ticket for the Little Prince.
Taking the ticket in his hand the Little Prince told the round man, "I would like to ride the roller coaster."
"Do you have a ticket?"
"Yes," The Little Prince said handing the ticket back to the round man. He smiled and opened the gate, leading the Little Prince over to the roller coaster.
"With just one ticket you can all day- all year- all your life!" The round man exclaimed.
The Little Prince stopped, "But I can't stay that long. I have to get back to my planet and my flower and my three volcanoes."
The round man looked at the Little Prince with confusion, "But you gave me one ticket. With one ticket you can ride the roller coaster forever. Why wouldn't you want to ride forever?"
"There are things I love that I must get back to, sir. I can't spend a day or a year or the rest of my life riding a roller coaster." And with that the Little Prince turned around and walked out of the gate and back toward the clouds that would take him back to all that he loved...
