Author's Notes: I feel very much a fluff-addled fan girl for writing this. Also, for the sake of not promoting voyeurism, let's also assume that the Sierra is not hovering nearby where all of Avalanche can see…
He was starving. Absolutely famished for love. Too much tragedy had happened and he'd never been allowed, never had the chance to sate his burgeoning desires. Never even had the opportunity to realize what his desires were, or on whom they focused. But no longer. It was time. Now was the moment when he could change it all. Fate, it seemed, was sorry for the hand he'd been dealt and had offered him a second chance. A beautiful, gleaming, silver-haired chance.
Cloud peered down into the embracing green and his heart nearly stopped.
"Good to see you, Cloud."
That beguiling, entrancing smile… Cloud swallowed thickly as he hung, suspended in time, unable for a moment to do anything but stare… Then, he loosed his limbs from their trance. He allowed his arms to slither around the heart-breakingly real siren below him and with a gentle gravitational pull, he melded their lips together, the second transformation in as many minutes.
Masamune clattered to the ground as Sephiroth released it to seek a new hold on Cloud's shoulders, tugging his body closer, moving him until the young man was positioned satisfyingly in his arms. He opened his mouth with a low growl, letting the young warrior plunder the previously forbidden recesses.
Cloud's arms tightened around Sephiroth's neck and he whimpered as he mashed himself closer, his tongue finally seeking refuge in the long-desired shelter. It was everything he'd known it would be—hot, wet, and right. For the first time in years, Cloud actually felt safe.
Sephiroth lowered the man to the ground, making quick work of their clothes. After facing death, he wasn't going to allow this moment to slip by untouched. He stretched himself out across Cloud's body, his mouth still worshipping as it should have done years ago.
Cloud moaned softly against Sephiroth's shoulder as they joined together, his fingers lacing in the silver hair.
The sun shone down on the two men as they loved each other, an intricate meshing of silver and gold gleaming on the horizon.
The End.
