I was walking away in a daze. Suddenly everything that happened over whelmed me and I ran as fast as I could down the street. What just happened?! How could he do that?
I ran even faster as I felt my body protest. If I had any more tears I knew they would topple over by now. My sadistic brain was even confused by what happened.
I'm not a masochist so how could he think I could do that to him?!
Flashback
I walked into his apartment grinning as usual until I saw him… or at least until I saw the gun he positioned at his temple. I gasped as he slowly put the gun down and walked toward me. I backed up until I was leaning against his bed.
Suddenly I fell against the bed him on top of me my heart racing when I noticed what he put in my hands. I stared at him in horror as tears trickled down my face. My green eyes were wide and my pink shoulder length hair with spiked tips looked fragile now against my olive skin.
My soft small pink lips pressed together as I closed my eyes. He gently put my index finger against the trigger. A long minute passed by our breathing like one as we both waited. Finally he staggered back the gun still in my hand as I closed my eyes. I heard the door slam… and I waited. I waited for what seemed like forever til I got up unsteadily and headed to the door.

I could hear those lyrics play in my head as I searched for him. When I finally saw the guy I ran up to him and hugged him from behind.
"Sakura…" He muttered silently.
"Sasori…" I whispered back as a melancholy silence passed over us.
Immediately he spun around in my arms and wrapped his own around me as we both fell to our knees.
"I don't want you to be dead! I want you to stay alive and maybe even be with me!" I cried as he held onto me tighter.
"That's all I needed to hear… I want to be with you too Sakura. I-I love you." He whispered as tears poured down his cheeks.
Suddenly shots rang out and we both slid all the way to the ground laying in each others arms our eyes wide. The police finally caught us and now we could finally be together…
