A Birthday Surprise
Chapter 1- Wakeup call
'Happy Birthday, Hun!' The voice of the girl who was sleeping in my arms (yes, very romantic) startled me out of my thoughts and made me jump and squeal in a very un-masculine way. When I finally settled down, my brain began to register what she said. Birthday? Who knows when my birthday is except...
'What? How dare Alice tell you when my birthday is? What right does she have? None! Urgh, I can't believe I trusted her. SERIOUSLY!' I screamed at Bella (keeping it cool, yeah right).
She stared at me with her eyes wide. Her lower lip began to tremble before... a small tear ran down her cheek.
That's when I went in to full on panic-mode.
'No, no, please don't cry! Oh, please don't do this to me! I am so sorry, I shouldn't have snapped at you. It's just, you know, came as a surprise to me. That was no reason to get angry! I don't mind if you know when my birthday is, really. You can even say 'happy birthday'. Go on. Sing a song, do a dance! Just please. Don't. CRY!
I went up to her and wrapped my arms around her- giving her the biggest cuddle I could without suffocating the girl.
'Does that mean I can get you a present?' Bella whispered into my shirt.
'Of course, whatever you like.' I murmured distractedly while rubbing soothing circles on her back.
She paused for a moment, as if contemplating before she jumped up with huge grin on her face. 'That's great!' She then pecked me on the nose before running of saying, 'I have so much organising to do!'
Oh. Then I realised (I know, took me long enough). Oh. 'Darn it.' I sighed. I had fallen for it again. 'Darn it all.'
That's the first chapter! I know it is really short but thats how i write! :S There are going to be more chapters after!
