A one shot on what I think should have happened between Tyler and Caroline when they were stuck in the tomb.
Caroline pov
I was just going to check on how Mrs. Lockwood was doing after her fall when I ran into Tyler and Jules. Jules was giving me dirty looks the whole time before she left me and Tyler alone to talk since I haven't seen him in a while. We started talking but then Tyler had to go as he did I called and went after him but all of a sudden my head burst into flames and I dropped to the ground in pain holding my head. Then Tyler did the same thing I was screaming because the pain was killing me.
Then I was struck with something in my back and the pain gave out causing me to lose all my energy and pass out. Then everything was gone and it was pitch black.
2 hours later….
Caroline started to stir, her head was pounding and she felt like her mouth was on fire she needed blood NOW! She opened her eyes to see Tyler sitting in front of her playing with his hands. "Caroline" Tyler said "Tyler" Caroline whispered her mouth as dry as sand. "Here let me help you" he said getting up and went over to her. "I'm fine it's just I'm locked up with these chains" she said pulling at them from over her head but the chains wouldn't come out of the wall.
"I know I was locked up too but I got mine off" he said snapping both of her chains off with his hands. "Common let's get out of here" he said grabbing her by the hand and standing her up. As soon as Caroline was on her feet she fell to the ground because she was very weak. "Caroline what's wrong" Tyler said falling down beside her and brushing her hair out of her face. "Those witches vervained and it weakened me so I have no strength" she said groaning and turning over to face Tyler.
"Well how can you get stronger" Tyler said getting panicky. "I need blood it will give me my strength back" she whispered. "Well here" he said rolling up his sleeve and putting his wrist to her mouth. "No Tyler I can't, I won't take blood from you" she said tears welling in her eyes. "Caroline if you don't you're not going to be able to get outta here you can't walk and I am not leaving you so just take a little ok?"
"Tyler please I don't want to do this to you ok" she said tears now falling down her checks. "Caroline do it" he demanded.
Tyler watched as Caroline's eyes turned red and venin's shoot out from under her eyes and her fangs came out of her mouth. She looked at Tyler before she bit is wrist taking in the blood. As it went down her throat she felt her strength come back and her throat dull from pain as the warm blood slipped down her aching throat.
Before she took too much she pulled away from his wrist. "You ok now?" he said "I think so let's get outta here" Caroline said standing up.
Tyler grabbed her hand they ran together.
