A/N: Thought I might try and write something after a long break. My first all dialogue piece. Hope you like it!
Girl Talk
"Daria?"
"Yes Jane?"
"What are you doing?"
"Well, I am holding a book which I have just retrieved from my 'to read' pile and am staring at the first page. What do you think?"
"Sorry, I'm just bored."
"Hey I never promised any fun and exciting activities when I said you could come over. Anything on TV?"
"Not unless you count Sesame Street."
"Hmm, I can see your dilemma."
"So, fix it."
"Can't."
"Why?"
"Reading"
"But Dariaaaa!"
"Ugh, fine."
"Yay!"
"..."
"..."
"What now?"
"I dunno, lets girl talk or something."
"Girl talk?"
"Sorry! It was only a suggestion."
"Fine, we'll girl talk."
"Great!"
"So, umm, how does this work exactly?"
"I'm not sure but I'm assuming it's something like truth or dare, minus the daring."
"Umm, ok then. You go first."
"Cool. Who do you like?"
"Oh my God, why did I agree to this?"
"Shut up and answer the question Morgendorfer!"
"No one. You?"
"Well..."
"Yes?"
"Doesn't matter. Your turn."
"No, I'm all intrigued now. Who do you like?"
"Hey, I asked you!"
"And now I'm asking you."
"You can't do that!"
"Why not?"

"Exactly."
"Why are you all interested in my nonexistent love life all of a sudden?"
"Because you're being all secretive!"
"Isn't that a clue to NOT pry?"
"FINE!"

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have kept asking."
"It's alright, it's just...I dunno."
"So, umm, I'll think of another question."
"No, you don't have to."
"You're going to tell me?"
"It'll come out at some point I guess."
"Oh, so, umm, who is he?"
"You see, that's the problem. It's not a he."

"Are you alright?"

"I'm sorry if this is a bit of a shock."
"No, no, it's, umm, fine. Yep, fine."
"So you ok with it?"
"With you being a lesbian? Yeah, it's kind of cool."
"Really?"
"Yeah, I suppose I'd have found out at some point."
"You know, I'm kind of glad we had this girl talk."
"Yeah, me too."
"Cool."
"So, are going to tell who the lucky girl is?"
"Oh, you haven't guessed yet?"
"I didn't know I was supposed to be guessing."
"Oh."

"Got it yet?"
"No."

"You know, this would be a whole lot easier if you just told me."
"Oh, alright. It's you."
"WHAT?"
