Snow White

She had been sleeping before he came, so still in a world of suffocating rules and formality.

Then he came and he choked the poison of their world from out her slender throat, and left gasping for breath she awoke.

And just like the fairytales of old she was compelled to follow him.

There is no forest this time, nor evil queen, no one led her in to the wilderness, but she was lost all the same.

She's not a princess but he's still her prince, and at the end of the day she's still black, white and blood red.
