This will be a continuation to where The Vampire Diaries is right now, with a few change. For example, Damon and Elena, have a different relationship. Some of the characters (Stefan, Elena, Caroline, Jeremy, Stefan, Enzo, Matt, Tyler, etc.) are still in high school. This will feature ships like Delena, Steroline, Beremy, Enzoline, and Bonkai. Plus a lot more.

Elena:

"Elena, you have to go!" Caroline begs, referring to the decade dance coming up. "The 20s! That's exciting!"

"I'm not really up for it, Care," I tell her.

With Bonnie gone, Kai on the loose, and my whole fight with Damon, I just didn't want to go to yet another decade dance.

"Elena, please!" Caroline begs.

"Alright, I'll think about it," I say, distracted. Damon has just walked in, and my eyes follow him. We're sitting in the Salvatore Boarding House.

His pale blue eyes meet mine, and it takes effort to drag my eyes away. "We have a problem," he says, pulling a black bag. He shoves the door shut with his butt. Damon bends over, unzipping the bag. I walk over, and gasp.

Inside the bag is a staked vampire.

Stefan:

I slip my phone into my back pocket, after getting of the phone with Elena. She explained the whole hunting-vampires thing.

I would always love Elena. But lately, I realized I didn't love her romantically. She still meant a lot to me, but in a friend way.

Maybe the best thing to do when there's a vampire hunter on the loose isn't to walk into the woods at night. But I was hungry.

And, admittedly, I was paranoid as I entered the woods. I heard snaps and cracks, and it had me on edge.

I decided to ignore it. This vampire was probably staked by Enzo, or someone other homicidal vampire who enjoys killing people's girlfriends. And if it was a hunter, well, there are several vampires and probably one hunter.

I had my sights on a deer when something shot into the back of my neck. I reach up, and rip some sort of dart out, already fatigued and agonized. The last thing I see is the pale amber liquid in the dart before everything blurs.

Another sharp sting erupts in my back.

I then pass out.

Alaric:

"In the past week, Kai was released from his purgatory hell place, and now there's some vampire hunter, and Stefan's gone," Elena vents.

"You don't know it's because of that. He could be taking off for other reasons," I point out.

Elena gave me her doubtful look. "Like what?"

"A certain control freak blonde?" Damon says in a sing-song voice.

"He wouldn't just take off," Elena shakes her head. "No, he was taken."

"Wishful thinking. I like it," he says.

The door to my apartment bangs open, and the certain control freak blonde walks in. "Okay, so no one has seen him since yesterday at his house," she plops down on my faded couch. "Why was I on Stefan Duty?"

"Because you have a thing for him," Damon says.

"Seriously? I don't have a thing for him," she pauses, staring at her phone in her hands. "Not anymore," Caroline adds quietly.

"Nice, Damon," I say.

The door opens again, and Enzo enters. "A family just arrived in town. The Bojewns. I mean, normally, anyone with the last name of 'Bojewn' is naturally suspicious, but when they just happen to show up and a vampire is staked, and Stefan is missing…."

"Who are they? The Bojewns?" I ask.

"A family of six. A set of twins in senior year, and a girl in eleventh grade," He grins. "Guess who's going back to school?"

The door opens again, as Tyler enters.

"There is this thing called 'knocking'" I say.

Tyler decides to ignore this. "So I found these in the woods," he holds up two miniature syringes, with about a quarter of an ounce of liquid in them.

I grab the vials, and pour the liquid on my finger. It sizzles, and I jerk my finger away. "It's vervain," I say.

Stefan was taken.
