A/N: I did not make up the original song 'Highwayman' and this is just replacing some of the words with MM stuff, so don't tell me I'm copying. I just got this random idea because the lyrics reminded me of the masks and Skullkid and Link. So... yeah. Oh, and I do not own LoZ or any of it's character's, etc.
In other words, I'm just thinking that if you mess around with some of the words, the song kinda describes the characters. So...
I was a Skullkid. Along the lost woods I did stalk
With curse and mask by my side
Many a young maid lost her baubles to my trade
Many a soldier shed his lifeblood on my magic
The hero freed me on the final day and night.
And I am still alive.
I was a Zora. I was born upon the tide
And with the sea I did abide.
I swam to fight the evil pirates, low

And when I washed up on the beach they said I got killed.

I was a Goron, across the mountain high and wide

A place called Snow peak in the wild North
