Author's Note: This is a poem following my theme of underappreciated characters. I know Grizabella gets plenty of attention, but I feel that she doesn't get any love until the end. So I wrote this from her point of view, concentrating her story. It's not the best poem, structure wise, but I think it pacts the emotional punch that my last story was lacking. Enjoy and please review!

It came in a flash;

And it left just as fast;

I was a star;

But that was back then.

My name was fame;

I was adored;

But not loved;

And that was back then.

In time, the candle blew out;

And the bulb blew;

And the sun set;

And 'back then' began do die.

Soon enough, they greatest and latest took my place;

And I became…nothing;

And I feared that's all I'd ever be;

So I tried to live back then.

But then they turned on me;

And shunned me completely;

And they moved on with their lives…without me;

Forgetting all about back then.

But there was hope;

And they found me;

And we all saw the truth:

That back then, wasn't nearly as good as tomorrow will be.
