Chapter One

I'm still working on my other story, but wanted to try one of these types of stories myself. Don't like mpreg don't read.

Blaine sat in the nurse's office at Dalton trying his best to keep what was left of his breakfast down. His hands were around his stomach in an attempt to somehow make him feel better, it didn't work of course. He just rocked back and forth until the nurse came in the room.

"Oh Blaine, you look awful!" the nurse exclaimed.

Blaine glared at her, "thanks", he muttered.

She brought her hand up to his head and felt for a fever, "hmm", she said, "you don't have a fever."

Blaine could have told her that, for the last two weeks he'd been throwing up almost all day long, he just need her to send him to the hospital is all he wanted..that and to not feel like death. He missed Kurt, who had went back to Mckinley two months ago. He saw him after school every other day, and most every weekend, but it was still hard. He really missed him now, Kurt was always so good at taking care of him when he was sick. He wished his parents were in town, not that he likes them all that much, but he wouldn't have to suffer and wait for the nurse to send him to the hospital. At Dalton unless you were bleeding you couldn't go to the hospital without a parent's permission, stupid he thought. The nurse finally looked at him with pity in her eyes, "let's get one of your friends to take you to the hospital okay?" FINALLY he thought.

Wes helped Blaine in his car, and they were off to the ER, Blaine's seat reclined and he was taking short breaths to keep from throwing up all over Wes' new car.

"Blaine how long have you been sick?" he asked

Blaine took a breath, "two weeks", then he sat straight up and gave Wes a panicked look.

"Hang on man, give me a sec", Wes said pulling to the side of the road.

Blaine barely got the door open when the rest of his breakfast made a return, he whimpered, his abs so sore from being so sick all the time.

Wes leaned over rubbing Blaine's back,"you alright now, can I get you to the ER yet?"

Blaine laid back in the seat, eyes closed, and just nodded.

"Hey, um, does Kurt know you've been so sick", he asked, "haven't you seen him while you've been sick?"

Blaine nodded, "he knows, he told me to go to the dr last week".

Wes nodded as he pulled the car to a stop outside the hospital, helping Blaine out, signing him in, then telling him he'll be right back he had to park.

Blaine curled up in a seat feeling like he was going to die, he felt a few tears escape his eyes, he couldn't help it, he just felt that bad.

"Hey buddy, don't cry, they'll fix you up and you'll feel better in no time" Wes said sitting down beside of the shorter boy.

Blaine nodded, "I just miss Kurt".

Wes rubbed his back, "I know, you want me to call him?"

Blaine shook his head, "no, it's probably just a bad flu, I don't want him to get it."

Wes was about to say that HE himself could catch it when the nurse interrupted him calling for Blaine to come back.

They had hooked Blaine up to an IV to re hydrate him, and gave him something for the nausea and he fell asleep waiting for results of all the tests they'd done.

Wes text Kurt anyway, while Blaine was asleep, to tell him he finally got him to the ER and that he seemed to be doing better with the medicine.

Do you think I should come stay with him? -K

No, it's Thursday anyway, just wait till he gets back to the dorm and settled and come up after school tomorrow. In fact I may take him home to my house tonight so my mom can keep an eye on him. I can meet you at Dalton and take you there if you want. -W

Are you sure? I don't like not being there when he needs me. - K

Dude, he's asleep right now, he'll probably be out most of the day now, he even said he didn't want you running up here yet..so it's alright. -W

Okay, I'll see you around 4:30 tomorrow, and thanks Wes, it makes me feel better that you're there taking care of him for me. - K

No problem man see you tomorrow - W

Okay, tell him if he wakes I'll see him tomorrow and that I love him - K

Will do - W

Wes put his phone away, as the doctor walked in.

"So doc, he got the flu right?" Wes asked.

The doctor didn't look Wes directly in the eye, "this may be an awkward question, but does Blaine happen to be gay?"

Wes was shocked the doctor would ask such a thing, "What the hell does that have to do with anything?"

The doctor sighed, "everything."

The first thought in Wes' head was HIV, then quickly dismissed that thought. He knew Blaine was a virgin when he and Kurt had sex the first time..mostly because of all the questions Blaine had for him. He knew from David, who was Kurt's room mate, that Kurt had asked the same questions, so that thought quickly left him knowing that neither would ever cheat on the other.

"He doesn't have HIV, doc, his boyfriend and him love each other, and were both virgins, they wouldn't cheat either!" Wes was starting to get angry, until he saw the doctor shake her head.

"No, it's not that, I think we should wake up your friend", she walked over to Blaine's bed and shook him gently, Blaine woke up.

"Blaine, I'm Doctor Spencer, and I'm handling your case. Are you awake enough for me to talk to you about what is going on?"

Blaine nodded, feeling much better than when he came in, "Yeah, I'm feeling better."

The doctor nodded, "that's good, now I'm going to bring in a machine because I think showing you will help you more than me telling you."

Blaine nodded and reached for Wes' hand, he wasn't hiding that he was getting scared.

The doctor rolled in an ultrasound machine, "isn't that for girls", Wes asked.

The doctor laughed, "yes you can use it for that, but it's also used to look at your appendix, stomach, and all the other organs in the abdominal cavity. Along with the arteries in your neck."

"Oh god", Blaine said preparing himself for the worst. But what happened next wasn't at all what he had prepared himself for.

The doctor put the wand of the machine on Blaine's stomach, she turned to him starting to explain what was going on.

"When you were born you were born with some well female parts but only on the inside. So when this happens to some men, and they happen to be gay..well this can happen."

Blaine looked at the screen, his eyes grew big..no no..this couldn't be..Oh God this is a dream, he thought.

There on the screen was, without a doubt, a tiny baby which once the doctor flipped a switch, had a very strong healthy heartbeat.

"Oh..my..God...Wes..What..what..how am I..oh Kurt." Blaine mumbled eyes still huge staring at the screen.

Wes didn't say a word for a minute, then uttered what Blaine was thinking in the back of his mind.

"Can it, can it survive..will Blaine be okay?" Blaine looked at him silently thanking him for asking what he couldn't.

"Yes the baby will survive, it'll be hard of course, but in recent years we've made big improvements for this condition. Although most men end up on bed rest by the seventh month, just for the toll it takes on their bodies."

Blaine breathed a sigh of relief, but looked at the doctor as she printed off some pictures for him.

"Will I be okay?" he asked.

The doctor put her hand on his, "you'll be fine, your body is half prepared to carry this baby, all that's missing is the hormones, which will we give you. You have the hormones, just not in the amount you need. But it'll be fine, you'll be fine, and the baby will be fine."

She wrote three prescriptions out and handed them to Blaine, holding out the first one she said "this is progesterone, take it once a day at night, it can make you sleepy and a little more sick."

Blaine groaned at that, "this one", she said "is estrogen, don't worry it won't effect anything in the short amount of time you'll have to take it."

"This last one is an anti-nausea, men tend to have worse morning sickness because these hormones being released your body just isn't used to."

Blaine nodded, "once your IV runs out you're free to go, I've given you the name and number of a doctor that can take care of you."

With that the doctor left the room, leaving Wes and Blaine by themselves.

Wes broke the silence.."dude this is kinda cool!"

They both laughed, "yeah, it kinda is" Blaine agreed.

"But how am I going to tell Kurt..or worse..oh God my parents!" Blaine started to panic.

Wes helped him off the bed once the nurse removed the IV line, and they exited the hospital, "Kurt will be fine, he loves you, he'll be there for you don't worry."

Blaine started to cry, "I know..but my parents won't."

Wes nodded, "I know".

Wes knew how Blaine's parents were, they were NOT going to take this well at all. Just then his phone vibrated in his pocket. After helping Blaine in the car, he looked to see who the message was from.

So what's the verdict - K

Wes leaned over and showed Blaine the text, "what do you want me to say?"

Blaine sighed, "can you take me to him right now", Wes saw tears in Blaine's eyes again, "I really want to be with him right now."

Wes nodded and sent Kurt a text back.

He's feeling a bit better, but he has some news and wants to tell you in person. I'll be at your house in about an hour okay? - W

Okay, Wes, he isn't dying is he..please tell me at least that? - K

Wes and Blaine laughed, Blaine nodded at Wes that he could tell him that he was going to be fine eventually.

No, he'll be okay he isn't dying I promise - W

Thanks..see you two in a little bit - K

Wes started the car and looked at Blaine, "you ready for this?"

Blaine shrugged, "as ready as I'll ever be."

Wes pulled out of the hospital parking lot, before he pulled on the highway he looked at Blaine, "it'll be okay, I promise."

Blaine smiled at his friend, "I hope you're right."

Wes smirked, "when have you ever known me to be wrong?"

They both laughed as they headed on the highway towards Lima.

Let me know what you think...I know men can't get pg..so don't tell me that!
