Drabble. Done as a request, and a some-what sequel to my "On Samus and Lawyers". Though it most certainly can be read alone.
Jordan watched Renee storm down the hall as she walked towards Dr. House's office.
"Doctor Gregory House?" she asked, stepping into the office.
"Can you read?"
"Yes." Jordan answered sarcastically.
"As there's no escaping it, I am doctor Gregory House."
"I hear there was a complication with Garrett's surgery."
"It looks like cancer. Don't worry. My colleague, Dr. Wilson says a surgical procedure, a few rounds of chemo, and he'll be back to his old self."
"Though a little balder?"
"...yes." House replied, looking up from his gameboy. "The cafeteria food is good here. Can I buy you a sandwich?"
