"It's... positive..."
"Sure ya did it right?"
"It's not that hard to pee on a stick, Cajun."
"Thought it wasn't possible..."
"Ah guess ya thought wrong."
She was almost in tears as he wrapped his arms around her. He hated seeing her cry.
"It's gonna be okay, chere. We can handle this."
"But what if we can't?"
The question seemed to linger in the air. He didn't want to lie to her, but he couldn't bring himself to tell her his biggest fears, either. They stood in silence for a minute, the darkness of the room seemingly heavy with worry.
