I got bored, okay! I was also eating pineapple at the time, so that might be another reason for this strange story.
Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter. No. I really don't, no matter what the kids in my head say.
Harry was sitting in a small English Pub eating pineapple. Don't ask why, he was just in the mood for it at the time. So as he ate silently in the quietly buzzing muggle pub, the door rang as it opened again. Harry barely looked up until the visitor stopped by his table. Even then, Harry glanced up just enough to see pale skin and light blonde hair. Then his head shot up so hard that he got whip lash.
"Happy to see me, are you Potter?" Draco Malfoy smirked as he took a seat across from the shocked man.
"I never said that." Harry said. He smiled. "Well, if it isn't the old git." Draco put his hands in the air.
"In the flesh." He said chuckling. A waitress came over to ask his lunch choice. "I'll just have some ginger tea, thank you." He said giving her a heart-stopping smile. She blushed and hurried away. Draco turned back to a very jealous Harry.
"Oh, what's this? Are you envious of that muggle woman?" Draco drawled, putting his elbows on the table and leaning toward Harry.
Harry blushed darkly. "No. You just never smile genuinely at anyone. It's always fake."
Draco sat silently mulling over his words. He leaned back again. "Yes, I suppose you're right." He said with a shrug. With that he unexpectedly rose, and bumped into the waitress again as he left the pub. Harry stood too, and the poor girl looked at him with big brown eyes. He handed her a 50 and ran out.
"Draco!" Harry called. Draco turned around, his face cloudy. Harry nearly ran into him, but backed up when he saw his expression.
"What?" Harry frowned deeply.
"Why did you leave like that? We can't even have a decent conversation together? It's not boarding school anymore, Draco!" Draco remained silent. Harry got more angry. "Answer me, Draco! I don't hate you! I don't think that you hate me, but…"
Draco peered at the man in front of him, and it seemed like Harry was the only person in the street that they stood on. Muggles bustled around them. "Harry," He started, but he turned his head as the said man furiously wiped at his eye. He tried again. "Harry, I smile fakely because there's only one person that makes me smile genuinely."
Harry looked up at the taller. "And who is that?"
Draco closed the space between their lips as he whispered, "You."
Harry pulled away first, reluctantly, and smiled at him. Draco grinned a radiant smile at him and hugged him close. "I think you're the only person I love. Even my friends can't compare to this feeling." Harry let himself melt into Draco's arms.
"I love you too." He said. That's all he needed to say at that moment.
