Author's Note: Yet another Brittany Oneshot, you know these are so much fun to write. I might write a Pikmin 3 fanfiction. No promises though! Now without further adu, here's Brittany!

Brittany's POV

Today had been a wild day. The confrontation with that insect monster, rescuing Olimar, not to mention the huge fruit we recovered in the process!

"I can't believe that beast was holding this gigantic fruit! I sure can't wait to taste it!"

"Well let's cut it open and see what the inside is like!" Alph enthused.

I took out my slicing knife and began the tedious process of cutting the fruit, steadily making process, with anticipation building. My mind brainstormed, "What will the inside be like? Juicy? Dry?"

We were about to find out, after cutting a vertical line, we pulled on each sides of the split, gradually opening it.

I don't think I'd ever seen Alph so excited about opening a fruit, "This is like opening a treasure chest! I can't wait to see what this fruit holds!" he exclaimed.

"All right you two!" Charlie began, "Let's give this prize a pull on three! One…two… three!"

The fruit tore with a delicious creaking noise.

"Again now! One…two…three!"

Again more tearing, but not quite yet! We could now smell its sweet scent!

"One more should do it! Give it your all this time crew! One…two… THREEEEEE!"

With a drawn-out tug with all of our strength combined we successfully ripped the yummy beast open. We all flew backwards as little black insects that were housed in the fruit exploded all over the Drake.

Panic swept the ship instantaneously. I bounced to my feet and fled all around the ship screaming, hurriedly brushing the small bugs off, "Oh my gosh!"

"What in the heck!?" Charlie hollered, "What are these things?"

The next thing I heard was a loud thud, but I was too grossed out to pay it any mind. The bugs were crawling all over the ship now and there was no escape! I felt like I was in a nightmare! In the midst of ruffling my hair, I slipped and fell right in front of one.

That's when I stopped, that's when I noticed none of the bugs were moving, "Hold on…" I picked one up, and the realization hit.

"These aren't bugs! These are seeds!" I felt a rush of relief.

"Wha…?" Charlie too, became thrilled, "You know what this means right!? We've hit the true seed jackpot!"

"All right!" I celebrated, "These aren't bugs they're seeds! I can't believe we found this much! Isn't this great Alphie?"

No answer.

"Alphie?"

"He can't hear a thing Brittany." Charlie told me.

"What are you…?" Just then I noticed what he was talking about, he was just lying there on the floor, "Alphie!?" I rushed to his side. That explains the loud thump I heard.

"Relax Britt. He's only out cold, he'll come around."

"…You're right." I agreed, "All that running around wore me out. I'm going to bed now. Good night Captain."

Wow, what an emotional roller coaster this was for us. I can't believe that I, a botanist mistook seeds for bugs! Well, at least they weren't bugs, and these numerous seeds will be very helpful for saving Koppai!

Alph will wake up soon…
