Falling Leaves

if only we fell in love as easily as the autumn leaves fall off the tree's. when Gilbert finds the body,two boys who paths cross too late are left trying to save each other for the darkness that comes from within. (sorry for the awful summary) the first chapter is a prologue, may end up supernatural? character death, suicide and depression.

Hi^^ um this is gonna be another story about love after death, sorry T-T… its inspired by the AMAZING song 'Autumn leaves revisited' by Thursday. It's a beautiful song, so this is prucan (my other OTP) and yeah, Gilbert's (it's a human au) gonna a bit OOC… this chapeter is just he prologue and if people like it, I'll continue. Everything will be explained later, I promise^^ Hope you enjoy!oh and it will mainly be in Gil's POV, like this. They won't all be written this way though…

Falling leaves, prologue

Sometimes I like to believe that love will last forever. That those who say they love us, that they need us, will do so tomorrow. Nothing to disprove this, we move on in life, happy, ignorant.

Until someone breaks us, when that true love is sitting on a throne of lies. Until the point when the journey we make though life receives it first bump, a crack that we fall into, falling, tumbling down into the darkness that lies below. Everyone falls once, it cannot be helped, and otherwise what is the point of life? The light means nothing without the dark, the joy is meaning less without pain and love is nothing without heartbreak. Every child, every innocent, free soul every baby born, will feel this.

I never knew this, I had never even fallen in love. Until I found you, someone lying at the very bottom of the abyss, an simple onlooker to your pain. I want you Matthew Williams, but your already gone.

The floor was stain with your blood you know, the pure, red covering the hard wooden floor. Your body lying upon it, like you were waiting for someone to save you. I'm sorry I came too late.

I miss you Matthew Williams, more than any other. That's why no one can know, they just think you ran. You, running…you were never a coward Matthew, hiding behind the shyness was a flame. A flame no one will never see again.

How can you love someone you've never talked to, never even met? You broke my heart even though I had never seen your smile.
