The weapon that you carried was meant to be an extension of yourself. It was meant to reflect your personality.
Leo/Dual Kitana
The dual kitana is the most deadly of all the weapons you can process. They are sharp, strong, balanced and take concentration to wield them properly. They are the extension of Leo. Leo is strong not just mentally but physical as well. He has determination and patience to learn this weapon. Leo is also the most balanced of the turtle brothers, as he can look at a situation from any angle. He is the deadliest of the turtles. Yet he has a flaw like the weapon he uses he can never change the way he is or what he was trained to do.
Raph/Sai
Sai are not just a stabbing weapon they are also used as a striking weapon. They are only sharp on the tip; the rest of them are smooth. Yet they are extremely strong and take great strength to wield them, as they are the heaviest of weapons. This is Raph's weapon and the show you what his personality is like. He is the strongest out of the turtles thus has the strength to carry them. He does not like to follow the rules just like his weapon with the sharp tip and smooth sides. His temper is also reflected through the weapons, as they are unbalanced. His flaw, and the weapons show you this with the three blades; is he never truly knows what he wants or where he is going.
Don/Bo Staff
The Bo staff might at first seem the weakest out of all the weapons but it is not. It is one of the hardest to train with and if you can use a Bo staff you can use any sword you wish. Don is the smart one out of his brothers but this does not mean he is weak. He processes as much skill, maybe more, as his brothers. He is like his weapon in many ways. He is tough yet true. He never changes his morals to suit someone else. He is smart and the weapon shows this, as you do not just learn how to fight with a Bo when you train with it but a variety of weapons. Don's flaw is that he does not want to kill only to slow down those he is fighting that are why his weapon does not have and blades on it.
Mikey/Nun chucks
Nun chucks are one of the fastest weapons out there and if you do not use them correctly the will cause you pain. They are unpredictable and erratic. This is Mikey in a nutshell. He is fun loving and playful and always on the go. Yet he processes the ability to stick to what he enjoys like his comic book collection. You never know what to expect from the youngest turtle and he is always full of energy. The flaw that Mikey processes is how erratic he is, he can never step back and look at a situation. He just runs into anything without a plan.
