I don't own them. It's all JK Rowling's. I'm just borrowing them for the moment.

Draco woke up feeling rather groggy. He looked around and wondered, what happened to him? He couldn't remember what he did last. He forced himself up, but was immediately pushed down by a ginger-haired boy.

"Oi, Draco," the ginger-haired boy said, "you shouldn't try to get up. Rest in bed and relax a bit."

Draco frowned as he focussed on the boy next to him. "Do I know you?" he asked.

Ron gave him a lop-sided grin. "We're best mates," he said. "We play Wizard's Chess every Friday evening and go out flying whenever we can."

Draco let out an irritated sigh. "That's all well and good, but …" He shook his head. "I just wish I could remember what happened to me." He looked up at Ron and narrowed his eyes. "Weasel, yes?"

Ron grinned. "Yes, Ferret," he said. "Madam Pomfrey said you need to take a couple of potions and then sleep for the rest of the night. You've had a rough couple of days."

Draco made a face. "I hate taking potions," he said. Despite his protestations, he accepted a pain-relieving potion and a glass of water from Ron.

"Okay, Draco, now here is your Dreamless Sleep potion," Ron said, passing the blond wizard another vial.

Draco grimaced at the taste of the potion. Within minutes, he was asleep.

Ron strode out of the Hospital Wing with a spring in his step and met with Harry and Hermione in the Room of Requirement.

"Well?" Hermione asked.

Ron grinned. "You were bloody brilliant, Hermione," he said. "Obliviating him was the best idea. Now he thinks we're best mates, and that we play chess and fly together every chance we get."

Harry grinned. "That's one out of the way. Any ideas what we can do with Crabbe and Goyle?"
