A/N: This was made as a prize for a contest I did on Deviantart. I doubt this is any good (considering that I don't really know all that much about Unsui and Agon and had to google them just to remember who they even were...well Unsui at least). Sorry if this isn't too well done (and they are out of character .:) I was suppose to do something "Dark-ish" but that's been kinda hard latly since I've been really bubbly (which is way diffrent from my usual semi-ansty self) so I hope this is good enough!
Unsui watched from the sidelines of a practice game. It was surprising that Agon, his younger brother, even came to practice today. He normally just skips out all together. Maybe he thought it was a real game?
That possibility made the most sense. Unsui had left earlier that morning wearing his uniform, as he normally would to a game, and Agon had shown up during the second half of the game. The way he was acting on the field sure seemed like he would think that it was a real game. Add to the fact that Agon never paid attention when the team was going over the schedule and that became the only possibility.
Unsui was feeling…upset? He wasn't sure of the right word. Dejected maybe? Well, whatever the word was, it just made him feel useless in the game. He was kicked off the field the second his brother showed up.
Don't get me wrong, Unsui was happy for his brother. His little (twin really but Unsui came out first) brother was making a name for himself! He had talent and skill and everything that a skilled football player dreamed of. But, Unsui couldn't help but have a part off himself that HATED Agon.
He hated him for being better than him. He hated him for always calling him "little piece of shit" (Unko). He just hated him for being everything that he couldn't be. Agon had God-Speed Impulse Reactions and what did Unsui have? Relation to him. That was all. That's why he was considered to be on the team. It was just because they saw how good Agon was and hoped that Unsui would have the same ability. Unsui was above average, sure, but he was not were as good as Agon was. That is why Unsui, partially, despised Agon.
"What do you mean this was a fucking practice game?" Unsui could hear Agon's shouting from across the field.
Agon threw his helmet at the ground shout, "I could have been doing better fucking things than this shit! Worthless trash!" and stomped off the field.
Unsui mentally sighed and began putting the equipment away. Today was going to be a long day.
Unsui was the last one to change. Just as he was undoing his padding he heard the door slam open.
"Fucking forgot my uniform was on." Agon said as he walked inside and started to change into normal clothes.
It was silent the rest of the time and Agon being the quicker one of the two was dressed first. He started to leave but stopped just as he opened the door.
"You were good in the first half…" Unsui stopped unsure if he had imagined Agon speaking, "…see you at home Unsui-kun." And with that, Agon was gone.
Unsui stood there frozen a couple of seconds only able to blink. He shook his head and continued dressing. It was those few moments that Agon let Unsui know that he did care about him that made Unsui love his little brother. He left the school with a smile on his face; thinking back to all the good times that his brother and him shared.
