so i wrote this lil ficlet while listening to before the storm i just felt like it should be done and no its not miley. also if you hadnt noticed i like writing fics with songs in them or being based on songs. i hope you like it.

During the storm
She watched him walk away feeling her eyes tearing up. She knew it was over even before it had begun. He had hugged her and told her shed be okay but it never would. She needed him and he didn't know that. She saw the storm clouds roll in over her head.
He walked away knowing he'd never be able to hold her. He couldn't be with her and still do everything without constantly thinking about her. He knew there would be a lot of pain. It wasn't what he wanted at all but it's what he had to do. He felt the rain start to fall down and quickly soak through his clothes to his skin.
"Please don't leave me alone" she whispered barley enough so he could hear her.
He stopped closing his eyes tight as lighting flashed and the thunder rumbled making the ground shake. She had to say that didn't she.
"Its over I can't do this" he says shakily
She ran over to him and grabbed him from behind "please we both know we can't do this alone its not easy anymore" she cried out.
Why is she doing this? She's making this so much harder. "I never wanted this to be over but it just has to" he says turning around to face her.
The lighting flashes again and he can see the pain in her eyes. It matches his pain. He stares at her drenched to the bone. Could he really leave her like this and not think about not holding her like he did before.
"Is it really over? If it is I will leave you alone" she whispers to him. This isn't what she wanted. She wanted him to stay with her she couldn't let him go.
He was flooded with pain looking at her desperate face. He didn't want to leave her and he wanted to hold her forever. Every thing he could think of to say was running through his mind but nothing seamed right enough to say.
She watched him his eyes matching her pain. "Please say something." She pleads with him.
"I cant there's nothing I could say to make this any better or make it turn out the way you wanted" he tells her softly. "It isn't the same…I don't want to let you go but it has to be over or the pain will get worse" he tells her.
"Okay ill leave you alone" she says letting go and walking away.
The lighting flashes again and every memory came rushing back to him as he watch's her walk away. Can I really do this he thinks?
She walks away thinking it's really over. She will never be able to hold him again like she did before. She feels her tears mixing with the rain wishing it'd all go away.
He knows it'll never be the same but he couldn't watch her walk away in the rain knowing he'd never see her again.
"Macy wait" he yells out and runs toward her
She turns around quickly and sees him running to her. He stops in front of her.
"Nick" she barely breaths he grabs her and holds on to her. "But, but I thought it was over" she asks crying harder
"No it'll never be over" he says holding her while the storm raged on.
