"So...who you voting for?" Lofty asked Max and Robyn as the trio walked into work.
"I don't know. Anyway, even if I did, I wouldn't tell either of you!" Robyn said, going straight to the staff room to get ready.
"I'm voting for good old David again. He seems to have done pretty well over the last four years," Max said proudly.
"Look over the stocks and staff and then re-evaluate what you just said," Cal said, striding up to the two, Ethan following suit.
"Cal, Eth, who you guys voting for?" Lofty asked.
"Labour. Maybe we won't be so short-staffed and I won't have to repeatedly do double shifts," Ethan said, walking off to treat a patient. The staff room was now filled with quite a few people, including Zoe, Rita, Cal, Lofty, Max, Big Mac, Dixie, Charlie and Dylan.
"Blonde person, who are you voting for? I'm voting for the Dem Libs," Dylan said.
"I would tell you if one, you got my name right and two, got the name of the party your voting for correct as well!" Rita shouted a Dylan.
"Nice," He said walking off, probably to talk to someone else and annoy them too.
The whole day was spent fixing people but more importantly, discussing who people thought the next PM would be. The only people who didn't discuss politics were doctors treating children up to 17 as they couldn't vote. Well, saying that, Ethan was dealing with a girl who had broken her arm but seemed happier talking about who she thought would be best as the face of the country that her arm. Ethan had never endured such a mind filling discussion, maybe except Cal's discussion about women - that was more mind-dulling than interesting though so it didn't really count.
Everyone was stood in the staff room when Rita stood up on the table. "Right guys, to make sure you don't miss out, were all going to the polling station first and then the pub!" She shouted over the chatter. That sort of went to plan - everyone went to the station except Cal who decided that a drink was more than a vote which would affect his life for the next four years.
The next day and everyone were in the staff room. It had been decided that everyone would get to work and they would find out together who the next PM would be.
"The results are in. The PM is now Natalie Bennett of the green party," Said the news reporter.
"Who?" Dylan asked. "I don't want some randomer running the country! Can we have Dave thingy-ma-bob back!" He said to the screen. The rest of the day was spent in hysterics about the whole situation. How fun the next four years were going to be!
There you go - who knows if the green party will win, my guess is conservative again - David has done good so far.
