Waltz of Gore
A/N: I don't own KOF. The brilliant SNK does!
Chapter 1: The Assignment
"I'm glad you were able to make it, Kisaragi-san."
Eiji Kisaragi is a feared ninja from the respected Kisaragi clan. Since his childhood he was taught the killing arts, which made him a deadly foe to encounter in battle. As he entered the pitch black room he examined his surroundings, most notably the man standing in front of him. He was an old man, wearing nothing but a black cloak and a hood that covered his eyes.
"Who are you and what do you want with me?" Eiji asked.
"My name is Doku." The old man said. "And I've called you here for a simple task, if your interested."
Eiji didn't care what the task was, nor did he care. It was hard for people to tell what he was thinking be cause of his cold personality. Not even Kasumi or Malin could figure him out.
"I'm sure you're aware of the King of Fighters tournament, are you?"
"Yes." Eiji responded. "I participated in the last one years ago."
"Good! Then maybe you know this man."
Doku handed Eiji a photo of a man from the KOF tournaments. The man was tall and muscular with a slight tan on his body. His hair was blond and medium length He wore what looked like a white and blue combat uniform with a red belt that held it together.
"This is Andy Bogard, I remember fighting him once"
"So you know him?"
"Yes, he was in the KOF 95 tournament with his brother Terry and friend Joe Higashi. But what does he have to do with me?" Eiji asked.
"Simple, I want you to kill that man. He has been on of Southtown's heroes for years, remaining a nuisance to any opposition. Also that man seems to know the Sakazaki family, killing him would give you some sort of lead to them."
Eiji only nodded in response. He had always hated the Sakazaki's so any lead to them was good enough. He took the picture and decided to leave. As soon as he opened the door Doku left Eiji with one reminder.
"Try not to fail, Kisaragi-san. Many have tried to kill the Bogard brothers but all had met ends lost. You must not fail like Geese Howard did."
"Don't compare me to him." Were Eiji's last words to Doku before leaving the room? Eiji was confident to killing Andy and anyone who stood in his way. But what he didn't know is that there was one major opposition that he would have to face.
A/N: Well that's the first chapter. Please read and review. I've just recently gotten into KOF so any criticisms will be good. As long as they're not harsh.
