Let me know what you think. Enjoy! :D

It wasn't fair. It had to be a dream. Finn was positive it was just some big elaborate joke they cooked up. It had to have been Santana. It was definitely her idea. Only she would use a school shooting to prank him. Only she would be that twisted.

He'd gotten the news shortly after visiting Burt in the hospital. Rachel's father's had asked him over and he knew something was off. They never liked him. He went anyway because it had to be important. It was.

Finn sucked in a deep breath as the words her father had used replayed in his mind. "She's gone son. They're all gone."

It wasn't fair. Rachel was supposed to be his. She wasn't supposed to die protecting some blonde bitch and she certainly wasn't supposed to take Kurt and Santana with her. She was supposed to be with him until they grew old and embarrassed their grandchildren.

They were all idiots, Finn concluded. Rachel always had a longing for love and a need to protect it but to jump in front of a bullet for someone just wasn't right. She was so special and the world deserved her talent. He deserved her talent, her love.

He couldn't really blame her though because his other friends did the same. Kurt, lovely, girly Kurt charged the man responsible which resulted in being shot by the shooter's partner and Santana. Firey, badass Santana had taken the same fate as Kurt. They were all idiots!

Finn mourned and cried for his friends. The people he loved her gone. He would never see them again. He would never hear their beautiful voices again.

When his phone rang his tears stopped in hopes that it would be Rachel laughing. She would tell him it was all a joke that she convinced her parents to play this cruel joke on him but it was not. It was Lima General. Burt was gone too.

Finn sobbed as he snatched the gun he acquired after being kicked out of the army from his bedside table and flipped the safety off. Everyone was gone. They weren't coming back. It wasn't a joke and he wouldn't wake from his nightmare. Who would want a life like that? One where everyone you love dies and you're left alone. He did not. Finn carefully pressed the barrel against his temple, his hand shaking, and closed his eyes. He would see her once more.
