"Harry, please."
Hermione frowned as she heard Draco's voice and stopped outside the door, listening carefully.
"Draco..."
"Please!"
"I'm not sure about this."
"I can't live without-"
"Don't say that!"
Harry sounded angry and Hermione's eyes were wide. What on earth could they be talking about?
"Why can't I tell you the truth? You deserve to know." Draco mumbled dejectedly. "Here I am, putting myself out on the line, and you reject my offer."
"Draco, you know it's not like that. I- I can relate to what you're feeling."
"You're accepting?"
Draco sounded much more excited now and Hermione realised she was holding her breath.
"Yes."
Hermione burst into the room, eyes wide and heart pounding anxiously. Draco and Harry looked up at her and looked incredibly shocked at her sudden appearance.
"You- you-"
"He said yes!" Draco said happily, standing up and walking over to her. "He won't mind if we start dating!"
"What?" Hermione asked, confused.
"I told him I loved you and that I couldn't live without you, so he agreed to not interfere! He also said that-" Draco stopped and spun around. "Who do you like Harry?"
"Um." Harry blushed and looked down. "Ginny." he mumbled.
"Oh, I see what you mean. Have fun convincing Ron you're right for her!" Draco turned back to Hermione and smiled widely.
"We can..."
"Yes." Draco nodded and kissed her.
"Um, Draco," Hermione frowned. "What's the catch?"
"Oh that..." Draco chuckled nervously and Harry grinned evilly. "Well you see, I told him I'd deliberately lose the next quidditch match."
"What!?" Hermione exclaimed. "You don't have to do that for me!"
"But you see," Draco put a hand on her cheek. "I want to."
