Chapter 1: Noticing You've Changed
Hermione Granger would more than likely succeed at Hogwarts School of Witch Craft and Wizardry than any other student. She was a book worm, having her nose in any book she picked up. She would finish her assignments before any other student and put the most effort into doing it. She was known as a "good girl" at Hogwarts-not the kind of girl who just wanted to have fun.that is.until her 7th year.
"Quick Hermione, Harry called, we saved you a seat!"
Hermione spotted Harry waving at her and ran to him. "I missed you so mu-" But before Harry could finish he noticed Hermione was holding on to him very tight. Hermione looked up at him and smiled.
"I missed you too, Harry" she replied.
"Hey! Where's my hug?" a voice called from behind Harry.
Hermione let go of Harry and leaned over a bit so she could see who was talking to her. Of course, as she guessed, it was Ron.
"Ron! I missed you too!" she squealed, as she ran over to him. Ron opened his arms wide for a hug, but Hermione grabbed his hand and shook it. Ron seemed disappointed with Hermione's choice, but smiled as she shook his hand.
"We've been waiting to see you! It was a very long summer." Harry said.
"Mine was too." Hermione said.
She had visited with everyone from Gryffindor before the train had left for Hogwarts. After talking with Neville a bit, she quickly stood up and made her way through the crowd to where Harry and Ron were sitting.
While she was coming through, she slipped on something. She fell hard against the ground, feeling as if she couldn't move.
Suddenly a familiar voice appeared out of no where.
"Oh my god! I am so sorry! Here, let me help you up." The voice told her.
A soft hand met hers and gently pulled her up. Once she was off the hard floor of the train, she looked up to see who her savior was. It was none other than Draco Malfoy. She stared at him. He was dazzling. His light colored hair hadn't changed, as it was gelled, but still looked gorgeous. His silver eyes were hard to miss. They stood out, looking sexier than ever. Draco still looked pale in color, but she could tell his body had changed. It was now muscular. He made her melt.
"Draco?!" Hermione squealed.
"Hermione?!" Draco asked, stunned by how beautiful she looked.
Draco just stared, until Hermione broke the silence. "It really is you." Hermione squeaked.
"Hermione.you look strikingly attractive." Hermione blushed.
"Thank you, so do you". Draco turned a light shade of pink.
"Gee, thanks." Suddenly, the train started moving.
"Uh oh. We better get to our seats. I'll talk to you later, okay? Bye Draco." Hermione said, realizing they both had called each other by their first names.
Draco waved. "Bye Hermione. See you at Hogwarts." Hermione waved back and smiled brightly.
This was going to be an interesting year at Hogwarts.
