The two of them walked into the room quietly, surprisingly lacking in intoxication after their wedding night.

Varrick, being who he was, plopped down onto the bed, laying flat on his back, exhausted. Out of force of habit, she stood by the wall, but it soon donned on her how strange it was for her to do that.

Married. She had to remind herself. Married, not Business. Though it still took her a moment to shake out of her habit, and sit down next to him

Her dark hair was up like it normally was, neat– Despite the night of constant congratulations and partying– Sophisticated, but different than her usual look, even if only slightly. Zhu-Li stood up, arching her back to stretch out her spine, when she was suddenly pulled down onto the mattress. She let out a squeak in surprise, before a large comforter was brought over the two of them by a familiar limb. Warmth seemed to spread through her from an outside source soon after, and all she heard was a quiet mumble.

"I love you, Zhu-Li." Varrick mumbled, pulling her closer to him with his arms wrapped around her waist.

"I love you." Was the response he got soon after, followed by his wife sitting up, removing the blanket from the top of her head, and then running a hand through the loose bits of her hair, finding the bun. She started pulling out all the little pins holding it together, until her hair fell loosely to her shoulders, and there was a collection of hair supplies on the nightstand next to her. She stood up again, reaching for her zipper, until she peered over her shoulder. "Varrick, can you–" But he was already up, pulling the zipper undone on the beautiful white gown she had worn for the night. Zhu-Li smiled at him lightly, a quiet thank you escaping her lips. She shrugged the dress off of her shoulders, stepping out of it, before hanging it up carefully in a garment bag. It didn't seem to bother her that she was walking around the room in simple undergarments, as she started putting things away, but just because it didn't seem to bother her, never meant that it didn't. She was used to being in a work environment with him constantly, but now things were different.

She removed her contacts and slipped the small case onto the counter where it had been before, placing a pair of round glasses on the bridge of her nose, only to have them stolen from behind her a moment after. Zhu-Li immediately turned to see the offender. She opened her mouth to say something, only to be cut off by a kiss. Gentle, and loving in its entirety. Familiar arms slipped around her waist, pulling her closer, and she didn't object, allowing herself to be pulled in closer. The two of them were exhausted, and so, they blindly made their way back to the bed, pulling apart for one moment to turn the light off.

In that moment, she stared at him. "What was that about?" She asked him curiously.

The only response was a simple, "Force of Habit." That made her crack a smile, cuddling up to him.

Their night was, in a way, absolutely perfect.

AN: So hello there, and thank you for reading my little oneshot! It's probably not incredibly good (But trust me, it's better than anything else I have written on this account thus far, probably because those are from 2012.) But anyway, I hope you enjoyed that! Any grammatical errors are completely accidental, so if you could ignore them (Or tell me where they are so I can fix them) then that would be great!

This came about when I really want to write something cute to get my mind off of things, and the only thing I had going for me was that first sentence. Gave it a day, and here we are now.

Please leave a review if you enjoyed it, and have a wonderful night!
