Hi everyone. My names Brian and I'm fairly new at this. In fact, this is my first fic. I was trying to think of what to write about when it hit me. Zelda! One of my favorite game series of all times and I get to write my own adventure. Can life get better? I submit that it cannot. So without further ado, here's my story. It will be a multiple parter and I hope u like it.
THE SAGA BEGINS
I was incapacitated. I was unconscious. I was comatose. I was in the period that seemed like the blink of an eye to me but seven years to all I knew. But this time it was different. I started to... see. Not much, but there was something there. A shape... a person? Yes it was. But who?
"Shhh...Your questions will all be answered in time," she said.
I awoke. I was in a room, lying on a soft bed. I looked older but not by 7 years, no, far from it. Then I saw the girl again. It was Zelda. She came beside me and spoke softly.
"
I'm glad you are feeling better," she whispered. "but we cannot waste any more time. You must come with me, to my hideout. There is a new evil that lives in our world, and only you can save us."
I followed her outside. It was raining. I don't like the rain. I wasn't happy because I knew that people were suffering in the years ahead and Zelda was keeping me from helping them. But, after all she'd done for me, I felt I owed her a chance to explain.
When we arrived at her hideout, I found it was just an old, abandoned, underground shelter used by Gannondorf's elite force.
Zelda explained quickly, "A new evil has risen up and now stands at Ganondorf's side. His name is Trithol and he is almost as strong as Gannondorf himself. He is a monster with three heads. The first head is always covered by fire. The second, ice, and the third, lightning." She spoke of how the monster tortured its victims by slowly killing them with all three of these mighty, elemental, powers. And then she said that there was a weakness. She said, "In order to kill this abomination, you must electrocute the head of ice, fire the head of electricity, and wash out the head of fire. Once all three heads are destroyed the beast has lived its last. But you will need to be stronger, faster, and have a better arsenal. I can cure the latter. There are seven guardians who will power up your weapons. Unfortunately, they have all been captured and sealed in the seven towers of the far west. They are jealously guarded by Gannondorf's men and will be hard to defeat. But you can do it Hero of Time. You can do it because... you have to."
