Disclaimer: I don't own Lone Star, 'I'm Already There', or the show. Just the plot.

Melissa looked at the package at her hand. Right after Jackson had died, she found it in his pillowcase when she was sleeping on it one night. She took the tape out of the envelope and put it in a camera.

Jackson's face came on, and he was sitting in a chair with his guitar resting on his lap.

"Hey, Mel. I know if you're watching this, I've already lost to the cancer. You know, I love you more than you ever would know. You were the only kid at school who wouldn't shun me, just because of my background. I loved you from that moment. I'm going to play this for you, 'Cause I want you to know, even though I'm not there with you physically, I will always be with you, especially since you have Laurie." At this point, he smiled, and laughed.

"When she's old enough to understand, I want you to show this to her."

At this point, Jackson had held the guitar and strummed a tune on it, and started to sing.

"He called her on the road,

From a lonely cold hotel room.

Just to hear her say 'I love you' one more time.

But when he heard the sound, of the kids laughing in the background

He had to wipe away a tear from his eye.

A little voice came on the phone,

Said 'Daddy when you coming home?'

He said the first thing that came to his mind.

I'm already there.

Take a look around.

I'm the sunshine in your hair.

I'm the shadow on the ground.

I'm the whisper in the wind.

I'm your imaginary friend.

And I know I'm in your prayers.

Oh, I'm already there.

She got back on the phone,

Said I really miss you darling

Don't worry about the kids they'll be alright.

Wish I was in your arms,

Lying right there beside you.

But I know I'll be in your dreams tonight.

And I'll gently kiss your lips,

Touch you with my fingertips.

So turn out the light and close your eyes.

I'm already there.

Don't make a sound.

I'm the beat in your heart.

I'm the moonlight shining down.

I'm the whisper in the wind,

And I'll be there until the end.

Can you feel the love that we share?

Oh, I'm already there.

We may be a thousand miles apart,

But I'll be with you wherever you are.

I'm already there,

Take a look around,

I'm the sunshine in your hair,

I'm the shadow on the ground.

I'm the whisper in the wind,

And I'll be there until the end!

Can you feel, the love that we share?

Oh, I'm already there.

Oh, I'm already…

There." Jackson finished, strumming the guitar one last time.

"Mel, remember me, and remember that I love you and Laurie very much. I already miss both of you, and I can't wait until I see you both again. I love you." Jackson said, turning off the camera.

Melissa cried, and went to pick up Laurie. She cried harder when she noticed that Laurie had Jackson's eyes, and cross around her neck. "Wait. Laurie, I know I didn't put that on you, and I know you can't even do anything yet, so… your Daddy says hello." Melissa said, crying as she hugged her daughter.

Yes, I know it's sad. I was getting my nails done today and I heard this song and thought 'Why not do it?' Go ahead, I know you hate me for even putting a sequel to a story that made everyone sad cuz Jackson died. But, please review! Love Lots!
