A/N: Well this is just playing about with the idea of Al's band, Make Believe, something I mentioned in passing in my RWSM oneshot, Fairytale. It was just in my head a bit later and I thought I might as well make it clear how awesome this band is ;)

It isn't much, but enjoy…

Make Believe

(the story behind the band)

Rose Weasley knew Al better than anyone. When he was in Hogwarts, Albus Potter had enjoyed doing the least expected; only darling Rosie wasn't surprised. As the first Potter in Slytherin in… well… ever, he found his chance to break away from Middle Child Syndrome (as well as Big-Headed Potter Syndrome, and even Son of the Chosen One Syndrome). His best friend was the surprisingly funny and polite Scorpius Malfoy, not including darling Ravenclaw Rosie. Along with Antonio (Please, call me Tony) Zambini, they quickly formed a Slytherin Trio. Despite their house the Trio had good friends outside Slytherin, they were particularly close to Godric Longbottom, the shining star of Hufflepuff. And, of course, darling Ravenclaw Rosie.

Albus' favourite class was Herbology, though his best was (oddly enough) Potions. He worked hard in all his classes, getting fourteen O.W.L.S. He was one of the best keepers that Slytherin ever had. By his seventh year, most of the potions used in the Hospital Wing had actually been brewed by Al Potter. Bets were placed on his family; would he become a healer with darling Rosie, or a potioneer, an auror maybe, or a professional keeper perhaps? Only darling (in Ravenclaw for a reason) Rosie betted for none of the above, and only she won any money. During their graduation ceremony, Al dropped a bombshell. He was starting a band-both muggle and magical-with Scorp, Tony and Godric. They would call it 'Make Believe'. Most of the Wizarding World was shocked, even more so when they heard the music.

Make Believe made it big, in both worlds. To the muggles they were Asp (the lead singer), Scorpion (the lead guitar and back up singer), Snake (on bass) and Badger (playing drums). They had amazing music, a unique style, you could say, and the best costumes, light shows and SFX in the world (almost magical, really…). They were adored. The Wizards saw something perhaps even more spectacular; they saw a group of talented friends proving the end of the prejudice: A Potter, a Malfoy, a Zambini, and a Longbottom, all in harmony.

Though perhaps, Al thought, their luckiest audience was darling Rosie. Whenever they all met up, the boys would sing her new songs, or improvise for her, always asking her opinions; because really, who could know better than darling Rosie? They didn't need costumes or lights, not even a stage. Rose Weasley just saw them as Al, Scorp, Tony, and Godric and she adored it like that. And honestly? So did they.
