I apologize for any grammatical errors. I don't own Sailor Moon or its characters. I do, however, own Damian and Anna.

This is a trial run at something new. It could go in any direction. Suggestions are welcome and reviews are necessary!

Intro:

It had been a long time since she had felt something. There were her daily cravings for chocolate or the occasional lonely sensation she chose to ignore, but those were just blips on the radar. They were meaningless in the long run. She wasn't even unhappy so much as lonely and aware of how monotonous her life had become.

People are going to let you down. She acknowledged this and embraced it. People aren't perfect. She knew this to be true because she was the furthest thing from perfection. Heartbreak happens, she had experienced it. These things all seemed so long ago; the feeling of pain or disappointment. She had some happy moments but they were in no way profound.

She really wanted to feel something.

She wasn't angry Darien had left her for Raye. She had known about their little "affair" for months now.

She wasn't angry the girls decided she was unfit to lead the group. She knew better.

She wasn't mad that she was stripped of her title and virtually abandoned.

If anyone can be independent, she can. Even though they are unaware of it.

She has led a longer life than they realize. She has had more experience. She has seen things they consider unimaginable. She was over one thousand years old and she remembered it all. She remembered her true love, not Darien and his empty promises. She remembers the war, the death, and the scouts betrayal. She knows how their entire world is fabricated and controlled by her.

She wanted to get back to feeling powerful. She wanted to get back to Serena.

She wanted to find her husband and daughter. She wanted to be treated with respect. She wanted to shed her current persona and find her strength.

She was ready to move forward, whether everyone else was or not.
