Introduction: Hello ladies and gentlemen to another tale to astonish. I have decided to do another Iron Man/Evangelion crossover, but unlike my Iron Willed, this one will be based off of the Japanese anime by Madhouse. However, I must first establish a bit of a timeline as to where this work will fall under:

1970 – Tony Stark is born to Howard and Maria Stark.

1989 – Stark graduates from MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) at age 19.

1991 – Tony Stark becomes CEO of Stark Industries.

2000 – Second Impact.

2001 – Tony Stark is captured by the terrorist group Zodiac after a successful test flight/weapons test in the Pacific Ocean. Shinji Ikari is born to Gendo and Yui Ikari.

2006 – Tony Stark goes to Tokyo-2, Japan to develop the Arc Reactor Station. He eventually establishes the Tanaka Memorial Art Center.

2014 – Prologue Chapter's Events.

Prologue Chapter

The aged man known as Tony Stark knew that his time was coming. Since the dawn of clean energy from the Takana Arc Reactor Station in Tokyo-2, Stark Industries has been in the forefront of the technology, its scientists testing every possibility for improving efficiency and effectiveness of the reactor.

However, he knew that the scraps from the helicopter crash that are still heading for his heart are mere hours away from causing his death. He, Anthony Edward Stark was three days away from his death, and he had no heir. His search through the international birth database for possible heirs led to three results, Mark Smith from Birmingham, England, Francois Bordain from Paris, France, and Shinji Ikari, of Tokyo-2, Japan.

These three had the makings of great men, however, Stark has a vast technological empire that he didn't want to go to the sharks like his cousin Morgan, Hammer Industries or, God forbid, Advanced Idea Mechanics. 'I would never know what they were after with my company,' Tony thought as he put the final touches on his final armor, one that he would never wear.

Sanji Himura Presents

The project, codenamed "Iron Man Evangelion" was the first and only in a new line of Iron Man armors in that every possibility, save the Hulk, couldn't destroy the armor. The armor would require at least six months of testing to confirm the AI that was just uploaded into the suit was reliable.

An Evangelion and Iron Man Crossover Production

The job finished, Stark walked into his public office, where his attorney and Stark Industries CEO Pepper Potts was waiting for him to legalize the final transfer papers.

Iron Man Evangelion

"Ladies and gentlemen," a news reporter on TV spoke, "We just received word that Stark Industries CEO has passed away due to injuries sustained from a helicopter crash back in 2001. Stark Industries CEO Pepper Potts had prepared a statement that Stark Industries has lost a glowing light in Tony Stark, but the company remains in good hands once his successor is found."

Author's Notes and Statistics

A bit short and a bit more like Iron Willed, I'll grant you that, but that is all for a good reason. Since this is based more from the anime universe, I feel that I have a bit more creative freedom than I would had I kept this comic accurate.
