In this time of your life I see you,
Full of new life and ready to awake
Like the flowers that in the spring bloom anew
Starting life, unaware what path you'll take.
In you I see the spark of a starting flame,
The growing of a fire fueled spirit
Which none on earth shall be able to tame.
Enemies of light shall grow to fear it.
But oh how your fierce life force takes from mine!
My soul weakens as it keeps yours sustained.
And such it is by our fate's own design
That in feeding your fire mine is drained.
How merciless is thy spirit of fire!
By nourishing its flame I shall expire.
