Disclaimer: I do not own the characters of Beyblade, if I did, the sacred Beasts would have human forms and play a much bigger, emotional role in their masters' lives.

This is a one-shot…for now…

Dranzer's Journey

Rain softly fell to the Earth in waves from a twinkling black sky as if it was crying for the arrival of the morning radiance would soon chase away and erase the comforting night with glowing warmth. Drops of crystalline trickled down a certain window of a luxurious hotel room. The shadows of the drops fell down the red glowing cheeks of a young woman. Sad melted ruby eyes stared out longingly stared out into the endless dark void. How she wished her eyes could cry like she had seen so many humans do. She stood near the closed sliding glass door. Her transparent hand gingerly touched the clear glass overlooking the balcony outside, which was small enough to comfortably have two people share a tender embrace.

Ruby eyes flashed as shadowed images danced in front of her and across her mind and heart. Suddenly she jerked her hand away. She almost lost herself to imagination. Her hand had begun to by pass through the glass. She clutched her hand close to her body.

She wanted to cry.

She wanted to know the warmth of touch in this world, to know the senses of the humans of this world. However, she was not part of this world, not a part of his world. She was only a spirit and the only way she could enjoy the elements of Earth's beauty was in her secondary form of a blood red feathered bird, a phoenix. Yes, she was Dranzer.

The young woman brushed her long silk fiery red hair away from her eyes, clearing her vision. She smiled at the sleeping form across the darkened room on the bed. Dranzer strolled over, though her steps were so light it was like she was floating. The woman settled her body down on the bed; however, the sheets remained undisturbed. Dranzer smiled lovingly at the handsome young man sleeping soundly. Dual colored hair nestled his head against the pillow. She truly did care for her master. She loved her master. They were the perfect team. She knew he would never give her up. He always returned to her no matter what to fight by her side. Dranzer thought herself truly blessed to have him as her master. But even though she loved Kai, Dranzer knew she could never have his heart. That belonged to another. Her gaze turned to worry as she sensed her master shift uncomfortably in his sleep. Red glowing eyes stared at his serene face. Kai moaned restlessly while unconsciously his hand reached up blindly as if trying to grab something. Not a moment later, it fell back down passing through the red glowing hand, and clutched anxiously at the white sheet. At the same time, only a single word escaped his lips.

"Rei…"

Dranzer had to smile, but it was sad. She was joyful that her master finally found love and true happiness. On the other hand, she was jealous of Kai. She wanted to be able know and show this special emotion.

Dranzer wanted to know love too.
