Chapter 1: Murder, decisions, and arrival

Harry Potter had just defeated Voldemort for the final time (in the graveyard) when it happened, the death-eater Lord Crabb stepped forward, raised her wand and yelled the killing curse. Harry just let it come. He thought he was ready to die, when in truth his life had just started.
Soon he stood before Death himself. Death greeted him and then told him that he had two choices: he could either go on to the afterlife, or he could go to a new world. He told Harry that there was information that Harry needed to know before he made his decision. And so Death told Harry about Alageasia and its peoples, its histories, and about the war that was happening at that moment. Death also told him that if he went to alageasia, he would be the Rider of shruikan, the black. And so Harry decided to go to Alageasia and start a new life. Soon a train came up and Death said that it would take him on to his new world. Before he left Death told him that he had packed all of Harry's belongings and had added some other things for Harry to take to the varden.
Harry then got on the train and left for his new home. He traveled for a day and a night it seemed, and then the train slowed to a halt. The doors opened, and harry stepped off. When he opened his eyes harry was lying on a cold stone floor, and was lying against something warm and scaly.
