Hello!

Welcome to my next fanfic with actual chapters! ... It's been sooo long! Hehe.. FNAF reference..

This fanfic was really fun to write, and I'm still writing it, so expect more chapters soon. If you bear with me through this first... interesting chapter, then the BBRae will take place in chapter two. Right now it's more or less the tragic events of poor poor BB. This is quite a bit different than anything I've ever done so feedback is nice... specifically the review type.

I'll get right to the story so, enjoy!

Beast Boy slammed his door angrily.

This was the 3rd time this week. But this time it was different. Way different.

For instance, this time he was packing his bag, and he was crying way more than usual. Silent tears traveled down his face, threatening to soak his clothes he was packing away. When the Titans got back, he would be gone.

"Good riddance," they would say.

Because apparently when Cyborg is trapped in a store with Control Freak, who specializes in electronics, may I add, it's too dangerous to turn into a T-rex to save him. Bull crap. Yeah, he got that it would risk the lives of a few civilians, but he and Cy saved them everyday. Doesn't that make they're lives more important?

Besides, he didn't even hurt anyone! Sure they had to build a new Gamestop store, but isn't that a small price to pay for their selfish lives?

He was probably going to get kicked off the team, most likely out of Jump City itself.

He was used to Robin yelling at him; it was an everyday thing. But when someone other than Robin yells at him, let alone insults him, all hell breaks loose.

...

*An Hour Earlier*

P.O.V: Beast Boy

* Beast Boy drops Cyborg on the ground outside in front of him, as a T-Rex, then quickly morphs into a human to check for injuries.*

The crumpled GameStop store lay in ruins behind him.

"What are you doing?!" The leader yells, storming in on the scene. I brace himself for a lecture. A loud lecture.

"Helpin' a friend." I mutter, still checking the wounded half-human for injuries.

"What were you thinking?! You could have seriously hurt someone-"

"That didn't stop Control Freak!" I scream, getting up after realizing Cyborg had no serious or fatal wounds. I'd never had the guts to yell at Robin, but man it felt good! An overwhelming sense of pride washed over me, sending waves of victory to my brain. The experience was unbelievable, I'd never felt something so strong in my life. So... Intoxicating! The feeling hadn't stayed long, and in the blink of an eye I was left with the harsh reality the waves had left on shore.

The reality that Robin was yelling at me for "endangering others" when Cyborg's life was on the line!

I prepared for another attack from Robin when Starfire stepped forwards. She placed a worried hand on Robin's shoulder, effectively breaking the standoff between me and the leader. She bit her lip nervously as her gaze went back and fourth from me to Robin.

" I believe this is enough." She says timidly, biting her lip. Nothing like this had ever happened before; someone actually standing up to Robin. It wasn't that he was a bad leader, quite the opposite actually. He was an amazing leader with feeling for every citizen in Jump City. The problem is that I'm just the opposite. Robin would kill me if he heard him say Cyborg's life was more important than the civilians', even if it were true.

Robin's gaze started to soften, but quickly narrowed again when he saw my face give the slightest trace of a smug look. Dumb face.

He smacked Starfire's hand off of his shoulder, rather violently if you ask me. The slap echoed through the silent city; everyone gathered around the scene silently by now. Audible gasps were heard by the crowd, along with some obnoxious cheering. How Robin savored their lives, I don't know. All I know is that I don't, and most likely never will.

Raven hugged the bewildered Starfire tenderly. I can't tell if she's crying because of the whole scene or because of Robin. We all know how tender she's been the past week or so. Ever since she discovered what was written about her online, she's been self-conscious and fragile. Everybody knew that, including Robin. Even Raven looked bewildered by Robin's reaction.

Still, the stubborn leader continued his rant. "Don't you dare yell at your leader! You are meant to show respect and-"

"Then why don't you show any to me?! To US?!" I motioned to Raven and Starfire, then to the unconscious Cyborg at Raven's feet. "Not only do you yell at me everyday, but even when we're chillin' at the house you look down on me like I'm some lost puppy! You-"

"Well maybe you are, changeling."

That's when it all fell apart, more than it already was. Think of this scene as a doll. Ever since I stood up to Robin, the doll slowly started to fall apart. Then, the mayor comes out to fix it, but only screws it up more. By the time we're done here, the doll will be no more, like myself.

The mayor strolls out from the crowd smugly, his gaze fixated on me, his least favorite of the Titans. My gaze was fixated on him, my least favorite of all people. Whenever he was around I made sure to turn into a rat at some point, just to scare him.

He continued, "Maybe you just are a lost puppy. I mean, there has to be a reason Robin talks down at you. It's not like we haven't noticed."

Robin's fiery gaze softened at the mere presence of the mayor, like he himself had a bucket of cold water to put out the rising fire. Robin's eyes turned immediately guilty after that last comment. I can't believe it took the mayor himself to finally wake up Robin with a nice glass of harsh reality.

The mayor made a pointed look at Robin. effectively shutting him up. What an all-powerful leader.

The big mayor then turned to me. His balding head and huge belly made him less than attractive. Not to mention the greedy grin he always wears and his short and stocky figure with stubby fingers and legs to match. To be frank, I don't know how his fat legs support his large stomach.

The mayor turned to me with narrowed eyes. My own eyes widened, I hadn't seen him this mad... ever before. I mean, I know he doesn't like me, but he better not say anything too offensive, 'cause my day has been strange enough without him adding to it. And by strange I mean horrible.

"Maybe you just don't belong, beast!" The mayor spat, eyes gleaming. My widened eyes became narrow to the point my sight was half covered by my eyebrows. I low growl escaped my throat, much to the surprise of the crowd watching. Some cowered in fear, but most cheered on the mayor. The mayor stuck his gut out proudly, standing tall with a boosted ego.

"Now, with that problem solved,... Robin I said no more buildings destroyed..." The mayor and Robin argued while I just stood there fuming. I looked to my right in disbelief at Raven, Starfire, and Cyborg who had just awoken in time to see the mayor's rant.

Raven looked madder than mad. Her two eyes had split to four, the color of blood. Cyborg was just sitting there, oblivious as Starfire tended to him. Tears of stress had appeared on her face and every now and then a look of anger flickered across her tender features. Beast Boy's hands were bleeding now as his nails dug into his green skin, shaped as a fist. Tears of frustration stung at the cuts near his eyes, threatening to spill. A problem? A problem?!

He glanced at Raven again, her features displaying concern now, rather than anger. Sadly, though, his hadn't faded away quite as quickly.

"SO I'M JUST A PROBLEM?!" I couldn't help but yell. The mayor wasn't getting away with his little outburst. His bellow echoed off of the city's buildings, catching anyone in the area by surprise. The retreating city folk all gathered around again, hungry for gossip.

"Yes, in fact, you are." The mayor said haughtily, despite Robin's feeble attempts to stop him.

The mayor stomped up to me in seconds, getting way to close for comfort, each of us were giving each other our best and most intimidating glare.

"You are nothing but an unwanted, trouble making, disgustingly green problem." He whispered, just enough for me to hear.

I snapped.

Tears of anger flooded down my cheeks, and everybody noticed, I'm sure.

Lots of "What did the mayor say?" and "Oh my gosh! He's crying! Poor Beasty-poo!" and most of all: "Woo hoo! You get em Mayor!" filled my ears. I growled dangerously and took a menacing step towards the mayor, which retreated to a safe distance. Of course he didn't look scared of me, but man heshould've been.

"Let's just hope your little disease isn't contagious-"

The mayor was cut off by a punch to his jaw. Two loud cracks were heard as he fell to the ground, unconscious. One crack for the breaking of the mayor's jaw and one crack for the breaking of my hand, which throbbed, by the way.

*Silence*

"BEAST BOY!"

A/N: I know some of you reading this are cheering, as I was, but then at some point you'll have to stop. Why? Because this isn't the story of The Punch. This is the story of the Aftermath. AKA- A large dose of fresh cold reality after you do something stupidly awesome. Sorry, Beast Boy.

I quickly calmed down as I looked at what I've done. Two golden teeth lay beside the unconscious mayor on the ground.

Robin was easy enough to read. His face was distorted in a wave of fury as he yelled my name. He was yelling something else, but it was incomprehensible. Instead, I decided to gauge the others' reaction.

Cy's blank face was washed away, replaced with a horrified look as he stared at my bloodied knuckles. It was already swollen. Cyborg had never seen me in this state before; a state of extreme anger and frustration. The only person who's seen me like this is Raven.

Starfire was nowhere to be found. Probably zoomred outa here when she heard the cracks. Today was overwhelming for her, and he could see why.

Raven gave me a firm nod. I couldn't read her face like I could the others'. Was the look she gave me... proud? Understanding? I can never tell, and I was endlessly frustrated and intrigued. I've never met someone quite like Raven ever before.

I finally turned back to Robin, who was yelling random and censored things.

"And you still scream at me!" I bellowed. Words could not explain my frustration. Even now, words can't.

Suddenly, the crowd outbursts with questions and screams. Reporters surround me, asking loud questions and shoving cameras in my face. I push past them to where Raven and Cyborg were previously. They weren't there anymore, I'm guessing she transported them somewhere.

My hand throbbed, my eyes were blinded my reporter lights, the looks my own teammate, Robin, were hurting my head.

I couldn't take it. So I left.

I turned into a cheetah and limped away, still faster than any civilian or Titan there.

Wow, a lot to take in, right?

I know the story says Raven and Beast Boy, and they are the main characters in the story. Starting in the second chapter. This is pretty much the explanation.

I hoped you liked. :D XD :D XD :D

Please review any feedback you have, it is greatly appreciated. I'm still writing a one shot BBRae fic, which is crazzyyy long, so that will be up soon depending on how much I feel like typing. :/

I already have the second chapter written and, depending on how much motivation I have, it will be up either later this week or early next week.

I hope to see ya for the next chapter!

Laterzzzz
