I published this poem a long time ago on this site but I have recently come back to realize that I wanted to rework it, fix some of the words and rename it. SO, here it is, fully restored. For those of you who aren't poetry fans I have a little oneshot that i have written based on this poem. I should have it up in a few days.
Lonely Soul
Don't blame me,
I'm innocent.
Don't judge me,
I'm just like you.
Don't hate me,
I've done nothing wrong.
Accept me,
please,
accept me.
I am desperate.
Others, they know,
how to have and to hold--
I have none to hold.
They say;
"It is better to love and lose,"
but I have never loved,
nor have I been loved,
so I have never lost.
But in the same way,
I have lost everything.
And I am desperate.
Please.
Hear my cry.
Catch me before I fall,
deep into myself.
Before all is lost,
hear me.
Hear my desperate cry.
