The girl regarded the empty space at the top of the hill in silence, fingers tracing patterns in her scarf as she approached. She didn't mind the silence all that much, after so long it was actually sort of calming. Sure, it wasn't as soothing as his soft conversations or the slosh of his coffee in his mug, but in a way, it was just as good. Her prosthetic clicked as she sat down at the top of the hill, cane draped over her lap slowly. She stared down off the hill, taking in the sight of Atlas in spring. It was usually snow covered and cold, but it was the tail end of spring, heading into summer and the snow was all gone by now. The country was alive with greenery, and it was a beautiful sight, one Vanellope relished in silence. The faunus tilted her head, spotting the approaching woman easily, as she stood out against the surrounding nature. Glynda took a careful seat beside her, resting a hand on the cane as well after a moment or two. The two understood the others pain, mutual loss of someone important in their life, and it allowed them to sit in silence with little issue.
The sun moved across the sky ever so slowly, as it did every day before, and would do every day after. While the absence of their leader was heartbreaking, the world goes on. It always did.
