Ahsoka sat on top of the grassy hill, watching the sun go down beyond the pod village and the horizon line. It gave off a mixture of sunset hues. Ahsoka was alone since Master Aayla Secura had left to see the clones troopers, maybe thank the Lurmen villagers or even check on Anakin.

Oh, Anakin.

Ahsoka sighed. She couldn't get the feeling of guilt that radiated through her being whenever she thought of him. Sure, he was fine now. Healing and resting inside the village hut, yet Ahsoka couldn't help but wonder if he wasn't fine. What if she was too late; too late to find the village. What if she hadn't crash landed the ship that got them onto this planet in the first place - which probably would have resulted in a faster way to seek medical help. What if she was able to stop her Master from holding the door shut, while the explosion went off. What if it was her that was in his place, and she was the one that was injured... If that happened, then no harm would have come to Anakin.

In Ahsoka's eyes, Master and Padawan were not equals - especially Anakin and Ahsoka. He was one of the grand Generals of the Republic, leader of the 501st legion, poster boy for the war, labeled 'Hero With No Fear', and also the Chosen One for kriff's sake! Ahsoka could never be the one that let the Chosen One die!

I will not be the one that gets the Chosen One killed!

Ahsoka flopped back onto the ground, with her head facing the darkening sky.

A/N

This should probably be longer, but oh well. I got the inspiration from the book 'Star Wars: Clone Wars Gambit: Stealth', which is the first legends thing I've read. Ahsoka said something to her self like 'I will not be the Padawan who gets the Chosen One killed',so I though of this. I know that in the end of 'Jedi Crash' Ahsoka feels quite hopeful, but I just needed her to think about the things she thinks about in this short. And Anakin getting injured was a good way to Ahsoka to think about it. xD I'm saying 'think' a lot.

May the Force be with you
