Watching a Cherry Blossom fall
A/N: so this is just a little one-sided NaruSaku and some on-sided SasuSaku that I wrote.
In Naruto first person POV but the only pairing above that I like is SasuSaku. So yeah, enjoy (though I personally think I suck at writing).
Summary: Naruto has been watching. Simply watching as his beloved Sakura fell for Sasuke, only to crash and burn every time.
I watched as you sighed in defeat. Kakashi-sensei was late. Again. But it didn't really come as a surprise anymore and we had stopped whining about it. Instead, I took to watching you.
I watched you as you fell in love with that prick of an Uchiha, who treated you like nothing.
I watched as you stared at him with a broken heart when he rejected you again.
I only watched as you cried, because the one time you would cry on my shoulder would be right before the one time you said you hated me.
I watched as you stormed off after I awkwardly tried to form comforting words. You hadn't listened to a word I said and slapped me.
I don't like being hated. Yet all I could do, so that the one person whom I truly love
doesn't hate me, is to watch. So, my beautiful Cherry Blossom, I will watch as your heart
shatters and you fall. Because to you, that's all I'm worth. And to me, you're everything I live for.
Now and forever, all I can do is watch.
